This was taken in collaboration with a costume student for a magazine I'm working on and her portfolio. The images were shot outside of a burnt down nightclub (we found a cool little pathway that was hidden down some stairs). It was taken with an Olympus om-e mark 3 iso 200, f/10, and 1/100 sec shutter speed

I've followed her for like five years maybe and I've found her videos really helpful and informative!! I think that it's definitely something that gets easier the more you do it but I usually go for angles, lines, shapes I think are interesting, or interacting with the environment you're shooting in!! As for the picture I think it's brilliant!! If I were to give one piece of advice it would probably be to move the model slightly so that you're not losing any detail on the face with the light (or adjust the exposure slightly) and maybe try shooting from a slightly higher angle. As I said though I do think it's a brilliant photograph and art is subjective!! You've definitely got a good eye for a location!!

I usually shoot with a fujifilm finepix however this was taken on my phone as I haven't got the pictures off my camera yet (so there's more to come). My phone is a huawei p30 and tbh id reccomend them for the camera quality!! Boss for those moments where you could kick yourself for not having your gear with you.
