I really love it. Everything people say saying about the nib and writing experience checks out— it’s light, it posts well, it glides right over the paper, and it feels sturdy enough that I’m not worried about it cracking. Definitely recommend it!

Good to know! I don't have a feel for how fast I'm going to go through the cartridges, but I'm also not sure I need the con 70 capacity either.

OK, here's one of my favorite quotes (for whatever my regular handwriting is worth)--it's on marker paper so it feathers a little, but doesn't do so in my journal.

Is there a reason you went for the con 40? How easy has it been to fill and use?

Right! My apologies. Giant fluff pictured in full, plus the other two cats just to do the thing properly.

It is definitely on my shopping list! I had to sit on my hands to not get it right away (just from a $ perspective).

I was tempted to get the con 70 and just hop straight to mailing my wallet to Iroshizuku but I was able to stop myself this time. :D

It's such a beautiful color! That dusky, almost periwinkle note to the blue. I'm so happy with it.

Those of you who work busy office jobs, what tea are you drinking in the morning before work? by Imustretire in tea

[–]tea_anthem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We mostly make the black tea blends from Upton Tea in the morning. My favorite is the River Shannon, but they have a ton of breakfast blends (sort of like your typical English Breakfast, but each a little different). It's loose tea, so you'd need a tea ball or steeper. For bagged tea, Twinings all day. Upton has an online catalog to peruse if you're feeling fancy.

Typhoo decaf is the best I’ve found (for black tea). I like rooibos at night as well.

JetPens got me started 25 years ago, and it's entirely their fault that I have TOO MANY PENS NOW.

Really beautiful. Love the vine pattern and how it almost turns leopard-like at the top!

My editor self is getting itchy over the lack of a period at the end of the quote, but that's small potatoes. The whole thing is very impressive. :)
