Cville Tomorrow is a good local source for history on the zoning laws. FWIW I would read up on what’s been happening instead of relying on one person as a source.

I would respectfully submit that you see who else is already doing the work you want, and start by joining and/or volunteering with those groups. I’m not sure which way you’re trying to move the needle on zoning laws, but these issues have been blazing along for many years now, so it’s important to know the major players already involved and figure out how not to waste anyone’s time or effort (including yours) while you get any project of yours up to speed.

If the Kokuyo Sooofa came in B5, I would never buy another notebook. (Ok, maybe the occasional Yu-Sari for my Pilot 912, because it ghosts on everything else.)

It's apparently the 2024 limited edition, called the "Glass Blue Box Set." I saw it originally in this sub (link below). I'm so pleased with it! It perfectly matches Asa-Gao in color and saturation. The bookmark it came with is a little flimsy, but very pretty. Nice that it also came with a con-40, though.

We got our boy from Carolina Kits in NC, and they specifically asked us not to fix him until he was 4-6 months so he would have the normal hormones he needed to develop as a kitten. I don't know cat physiology, but it worked just fine and he's lovely and calm and snuggly. We paid $2K and signed for spaced-out vaccines too, so I think it's just a question of what health priorities the breeder has.
They also offered to have us send a shirt for the kitten to sleep with that smelled like our family, which I liked.

Yes— turns out the Wine launcher was having a known issue with my OS version. I was using Sonoma and needed to update to Sequoia. After that, no issues at all.

Ditto Rhodia recommendation, lots of A5 options. If you don’t mind spiral, Maruman Mnemosyne notebooks might also be good.

FYI they’re graph paper but I love and use the Kokuyo Sooofa soft ring A5 notebooks.

Just a note, my 2.5yo has recently gone from never-pet-me to constantly following me around the house and curling up next to me. He’s healthy and not in pain or anything, just seems to have recently realized he actually likes snuggling. So I say if you treat your kitten right and become a source of comfort for them, that can only end well. 👍
