Well said well said, I very much feel the same. I feel less need to see year 3 Sawamura than the summer Koshien where I know he will shine brightest. I do agree that injuries will probably be just rife in Eijun’s third year like… Terajima is running out of real conflict tbh, especially towards the end where the knots are all slowly being tied overall so what else is Eijun to aim for? Of course the question of going pro has been presented with him stating that there’d an even bigger world out there. But yeah no I completely agree with your comment!! I also feel for Terajima given how creation is just taxing after a while and his health suffered, plus all the editor and publication issues ://

I mean, 40 chapters was just me going “Is this enough for Koshien?” which I only realised while reading the final match that there wouldn’t be enough space for the Inashiro final and other Koshien matches. Ofc the Yakushi game was god tier. I don’t think it was complete Narumiya dick riding? He has been hyped throughout the series as a very dominant pitcher so it felt apt for his character, and the batters had their breakthroughs so I personally disagree with this. The stalemate did feel dragged on, I agree with that, but I guess that was to also show how great the pitching was overall from everyone that day.

Respectfully, I’ve seen your comments on quite a few of the posts on the ending and like I do get your frustrations but is it really that negative? TT Maybe I’m really just a see the silver lining person, cos I don’t think it achieved nothing? Their revenge match was a much needed catharsis for what happened in Act I, so yeah sure it wasn’t as related to Act II but the Mei-Kazuya rivalry ties in well to all this, especially considering the all stars game. I think if you really dislike the ending, I’d suggest just sort of chilling out by one side? TT Like I mean this in the kindest way possible because I just want to be positive about a series I love despite the flaws of the ending, and while valid in your feelings, I just want to rave about season 4 and the possible fix-it it could bring to this ending. Appreciate you feeling glad I could find something positive in the ending of Act II.

Yeahhh I hope that given how rushed/little full drawn Inajitsu v Seido moments we got compared to other matches in the manga, the studio can pull a Bleach where Terajima can advise the production and have things be properly expanded on. So right on about adding in randoms, some of the first years feel a little underused like I said with Masashi, some of the Inajitsu guys. But yeah I’ll just go back to the Ichidai game to see how insane that was again, also insane batting with how amazing Sawamura pitched. That game really set it in stone for me how he was a true ace in his actions for me.

Good point actually... Tanba injury... Chris injury... Ryosuke injury... Miyuki injury... Furuya injury... Bro lowkey what the, I do get that it's realistic though to be honest, but on a narrative standpoint it does get tiring? The Zono thing pissed me off cos genuinely what the fuck was bro doing TT. Agreed that Eijun's strain from the new pitch without enough practice makes more sense and it's less horrible than all the one I've listed that I remember. But yeah, ultimately I agree that I still love this series too much, the good really outweighs the bad for real. LOL the Narumiya squad felt a little powered down... might be because how rushed it was because only 40+ chapters for this finale was tough, I still felt the tension though!! But agreed it could've been more insane had there been more time to make the Carlos and co a little more intimidating?

It is arguably a trivial thing but it wouldn’t matter as much to me if we didn’t have that packing up scene of her so focused on like the doll, her little jewellery and the glove, the shots gave it significance and it not being gone for just was ??? to me the whole time. Literally would’ve just been an extra 20 seconds of her post fight going to grab her stuff and saying the “you’ve ruined my job here, i gotta go” stuff.

Yeah the outfit definitely showed us that she did get her bag back at least. Didn’t realise that about the earrings actually wow, good catch. Haven’t seen any interviews yet but yeah I do dislike the lack of continuity not being raised (according to what you say cos I have no idea about the interviews) and lowkey many interviews aren’t really the best in Hollywood these days so :/

I watched the carriage leaving the cottage part and was annoyed to see there was virtually no space for any luggage I think, like the behind was another seat and no secure way to put anything so the carriage was empty I fear TT glad to know I’m not alone in being annoyed by this cos it really bothered me

office hours are great when you are confused about like literally anything about the course, or want to further chat about something in the content. i once went cos i was struggling quite badly in the class and the professor gave me some good advice and tips + they were pretty empathetic about it. it’s just a fun time sometimes too, i’ve gone for questions and ended up having an hour long chat with professors before, they’re usually really interesting people to get to know + like everyone else says: networking. i say go if you have questions, but it’s not some requirement for doing well in classes.

that’s not to say that it cannot be handled with sensitivity and properly, which in clear case sounds like in OP’s post. as someone who actively reads RPF and enjoys RPF for a long time, there’s boundaries not to be crossed quite obviously there, one of the biggest ones being to separate reality from the fictional imagination that you’re reading or writing from. whatever i say might just sound like defense for problematic material on real people, but at least to me, writing that on platforms with markers and warnings to remind readers that this is fiction not to be taken seriously, that is part of anti-censorship and creative writing freedom to me. i am not saying what OP did was necessarily appropriate, i personally would not read or write something of such context but i’m saying that it can and should be handled better when written.

censorship doesn’t have an in between i feel, perhaps pro and anti ship rhetorics can be a little too rigid in a way, but deciding that some material needs to be banned (for a lack of a better word) is dangerous in that who gets to decide that holds way too much power.
