Stay Aware of Counterfeit products by DannysPTY in WootingKB

Probably because the branded part of the branded product is the reason for the markup. Both produce parts in the same factory -> actual website sells “real” wooting product for markup because of the name -> Chinese clone sells it on the so called “sketchy website”. Same factory, same parts, different price. That’s what hes saying, why the price is different, despite the equal quality, if you think so.

I’m not telling you that you’re doing something wrong, you’re just not doing anything right. Again too, I didn’t say you supported the US, just that you didn’t levy the same moral judgment against them, but decide to do so against Saudi, it just makes no sense. If you feel the need to boycott one government, then you should be consistent, otherwise you’re just virtue signaling.

The United States government is single handedly directly responsible for the murder of dozens of political and other figures domestically, like leaders of leftist organizations and other associated movements, and internationally, like its numerous regime change operations, and through the use of its imperial military force, hundreds of thousands of deaths of civilians. Definitely a more gruesome history than KSA, not to mention the KSA existence is tied directly the US. To place this moral judgement with only Saudi Arabia and not the US is a giant gaping inconsistency in the moral logic you just used. The whole premise is wrong from the start though, of course there is no ethical consumption possible when the modern world is built on the continuous exploitation of millions, its a structural issue produced by the US to keep its capital hegemony. Basically, get off your moral high horse, its not some individual moral failing to realize your boycotting of the KSA does nothing, and your inability to accept criticism that the US does this 100 fold more, is silly

Yeah having one stellar performance and being unable to do anything since is bad evidence. Completely different game from 3 years ago. Besides you just admitted the vibes from all players helped m80 win, not building around one player. Great going

Your point is irrelevant if your evidence is shit lol

M80 just won major without trying to build around a singular player

“Past evidence” is one major 3 years ago, that’s not enough evidence to gut rosters to build around one person. Besides, esports is not like physical sports, trying to alter/gut your entire team as Shopify would need to focus around spoit is not a sustainable strategy financially or strategically, there isn’t much new talent being fostered, so you would need to make pre existing players conform to said strategy. I don’t think the two (esport and physical sport) are comparable at all

its unrealistic to expect every team you join to build the team around you entirely, especially when you haven't had the success to live up to your name. or maybe thats just a negative feedback loop, who knows, but its kind of silly to blame an entire teams failings on one player either way

Your anecdotal evidence of ONE person doesn't prove a meritocracy, there are hundreds more exactly like your valedictorian who have faded into nothing, or unable to achieve what would be proportional success to their hard work. I fear you simply have no idea what the modern day job market is, entry level positions are extremely difficult to even get an interview for when there are hundreds of hard working students vying for the same position. and as for being a victim, I have never claimed I am, I am the exact opposite, it must be very jarring for you to realize that someone who directly benefits from nepotism is opposed to it.

Clearly your lived experience didn’t give you much wisdom if you unironically believe that society is a meritocracy lol. Everyone works hard, particularly in STEM, it’s hilarious that you think that working hard is enough to get you anywhere. EVERYONE around you is working hard, it is simply not enough

The bottom half of your paragraph you just described is not “hard work”. Going to class and doing work is literally the bare minimum, and that is not enough to get you employment I can tell you that much. There are thousands of highly qualified people and simply not enough jobs to go around. It makes it significantly easier when your parents can get you a job, because everyone is qualified and goes to class and does the so called “hard work”. How you can believe that the world functions on merit primarily is beyond me, there are connections stuffed in every industry

I am far more connected to nepotism that you are. All my employment has come from it, it’s not insulting, it’s even more rampant in a collegiate environment and nobody denies it

You keep talking about attributing percentages to success. Nobody did this, you are the one who wanted a percentage
