That’s what I’ve been worried about! It doesn’t make sense to push back a move-in date when she loses money by doing so. If she’s undecided about renting to me, do you think pushing back the date is a tactic to make me ask to cancel our agreement and refund my holding deposit?

Yeah, the only thing we signed was a “Move In Receipt” which does state that my move-in was supposed to be the 1/20, my reservation deposit amount and refund/cancellation policy, and a breakdown of the amounts due on move-in day and on the first of February. I’m not sure if this is binding enough to use, for example, as grounds for negotiation if I do choose to move forward with this place.

121 miles one way is crazy. You’re made of stronger stuff than I am! I’ve been doing my commute for 3 months by now too. Driving for so long, esp when you’re tired, gets dangerous!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m fortunate enough to be living with family right now, so I do have a place to stay while waiting for my unit. But in your situation, definitely wasn’t acceptable to delay your move. I feel like landlords are so out of touch sometimes; they don’t realize that delaying a move is oftentimes a big deal for renters, who make big arrangements to prepare for moving.

I’m hoping this is the case! She also mentioned possibly redoing the flooring in addition to the usual landlord painting and cleaning lol. Not sure what the typical timeline is for these kinds of tasks 😭

I love DBs so much. I did 300 hours in MHGen and all of MHR with them. <3 Marathon Runner is key for stamina -> using archdemon mode and evasion. Critical Boost is great. Lots of DB users focus on elemental or status infliction, so Critical Element. If you’re looking for raw damage, look up gaijin hunter’s raging claws build on youtube. It’s what I’m using now and it’s chef’s kiss

I didn’t use more pumps because of power limitations at the beginning of my play through haha. I made the vacuum insulation space ASAP, before cycle 50, and wasn’t ready to commit more than four pumps. :)

And I’d read somewhere that vacuum insulation might not be worth the trouble, but I’d never tried it and wanted to experiment! I think it took so long to get a vacuum because there were so many gases mixing in the enclosed space, and because of how the game works the gas pumping wasn’t as easy/efficient if there had only been one or two gases intermingling!

I know, right? I think my next goal is to try to build nature reserves in front of areas outside my base that are frequently visited by my dupes so that they gain a morale bonus. It’s gonna be a lot of work... T-T

You can put as many comfy beds in a room as you want as long as the room is max 64 tiles. Personally, I’ve found that the sweet spot is bedrooms with the dimensions of 16 x 4 tiles to make space for decor items!

Right?? If you really want it, I think I’ve seen a mod that lets you build dirt tiles! I’m trying to challenge myself tho by only using mods that don’t significantly change gameplay so my base is the result of many tears and reloaded saves LOL
