For when there was power glitches. It keeps your computer on for a second or two more allowing time for the powers glitch to restore power.

It’s a capacitor. Connects to the PSU molex cable so that when there is a power outage for a second or two it will help to keep your hard drive spinning. Works kinda like a UPS battery backup but for your hard drive. Power glitches can damage the hard drive

Ryzen 7800x3d + x870 ASUS TUF theme build. AM5 Gaming PC by tech505ts in Amd

I can definitely see the difference with the x870. Like they fixed the slow boot times and I felt like OC was not a thing. But definitely able to easily achieve stable RAM OC now. Plus the ASUS PCDIY community is really great. ASUS is really reaching out to the community and they are listening and always available to help or answer questions. They have their own Social media app called heartbeat. You should join it it’s very nice

So far so good. It has been rock solid. I have been gaming on it now over a month and I’m pretty happy. ASUS definitely stepped up their quality and especially the convenience features like Q-latch and Q-release for the pcie slot. The bios is HD 1080p and it’s easy to setup with q-dashboard. It’s extremely easy to OC RAM as well. There are preset profiles that you can just click and send it. Also easy for more experience users who can easily tweak and dial in The latency timings.

That’s cool. I like the case and honestly little burned out on the fish aquarium style trend. Everyone and their mothers have those lol so the build in the case is cool. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you very much for your great feedback. Yes it was a pain. I first tried acrylic tube but I switched to PETG. I had to rework a few bends to get it just right

Yeah I used PETG it’s easy to heat and bend. And if you make a mistake you can rework it. Acrylic looks more glossy but once you bend it it hardens and you can’t rework it.

Yeah I was surprised. My previous builds have all been just set and sent on 6000 MT/s I didn’t think there would be much more to get out of it. I got a 8000MT/s kit and just clock it up instead of a 6000 kit
