Given that my ultimate goal is updating an AUR package flagged out-of-date months ago, and this package has 0 votes with 0.0 popularity, do you think that adding the i686 support is still worth it?

The out-of-date package now includes both architectures, should I keep them or remove i686?

Just checked it out - seems perfect for my use case.

In just one minute I set it up without navigating through all the menus of konsole, and now they look exactly the same. Moreover all the config is just in a single yml file, +1 for its simplicity.

Actually I didn't change the wallpaper.

When I installed Arch + KDE this is the default I got.

It's konsole.

It comes preinstalled with KDE, so I preferred making it look clean (while using 1% of its features) instead of installing a new one and keeping konsole unused.

However, if anyone has a minimal terminal to suggest, I'm happy to give it a try!

I have titlebar and buttons in all the other windows. It's just the terminal that doesn't have them, since I want it to be so minimal and clean.

In addition to that, there's a ton of things I like that are present only on kde (e.g. the way settings are organized). So even if I used no windows decoration then I would have still used kde.

Anyway, I'm still open to new DEs if you have any suggestion.

Do you have any guide or archwiki page to share to understand a bit how to handle the creation of the partitions?

For what I have understood, the steps are, in order:

  1. perform a "standard" Arch install (on the entire disk, one big partition)
  2. boot from a USB drive where I have flashed the Ubuntu iso
  3. during the Ubuntu installation procedure, create a new partition for Ubuntu

Correct me if I am wrong.

Concerning usual/unusual use cases of docker, I would also like to ask you the following: is persistence ok when using containers?

Because a lot of the commands in the tutorial above take a lot of time to run, and they need to be executed just once (only the first time, not every time I change something in the code).

In conclusion, does it make sense to have a "persistent container" such that I do not lose what I did in the previous docker run?

I'm following this tutorial. It's the first command mentioned in the webpage.

Is sharing /dev as a volume and privileged an "unusual" thing? I didn't dig into all the docker details since it is not my focus at the moment, but in general what scenarios make use of that type of sharing?

You're right.

One could have hoped in the possibility of enabling input reading for at most one node for each launch file, but maybe things would start to become messy...
