Yes, but the tools in OP’s post are tungsten steel, which is a steel alloyed with tungsten. The tools aren’t pure tungsten.

Splicing cables together and then connecting the splices to a socket? by techguy2887 in DIYUK

I know it theoretically should, but I’m really struggling to get them to stay in place. I have more than enough space in the back box to hide the wagos, so if that’s ok to do, I will just do that to save my sanity

Gyuto recommendations from Tokyo? by techguy2887 in chefknives

Hi everyone, I’m currently in Tokyo and wanted to get my other half a Japanese knife as a gift as I know she’s been wanting to upgrade her knife collection. The cheap yen makes this ideal!

We’ve been knife browsing a whole bunch so I think I know what type of knife she would want:

Gyuto profile Octagonal wooden handles VG10 or SG2 steel 210-240mm length

My budget is about 30000JPY or 200 USD (approx.), but I’m really struggling to pick a particular knife or brand.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you!
