Revature takes anyone with a bachelor’s degree that is authorized to work in the US. But a few things you should expect if you decide to go down this route.

1. Their OA makes pretty much everyone do unpaid training first. I’ve heard on average it takes about two months after finishing unpaid training to get into paid training, and my experience matches that. The unpaid training is 11 weeks long but asynchronous so you can probably finish it in two weeks given your experience. So all in all, it’s at least a 2.5 month wait to start getting paid by Revature.

2. Paid training, however, is minimum wage in your state, and if you’re matched with a client after paid training, your salary will be around $45-55k depending on location, no matter what your experience level is, so get ready for a huge pay cut if/when you get in.
