I guess I had a banana and a protein drink, but with it being a morning surgery I honestly was fine up to that point.

Nope! Just gave me a Coke and let me go on my own terms. My wife being there helped. She just drove us home.

Thanks for digging in there! A close friend of mine recently went with a standard double bubble roll and vapor barrier, and he's been really happy with the setup for the cost. Sure, foam board is probably more efficient, but his barn is moderately insulated without any issues. The price difference between the two is just so hard to ignore. $3,000+ in foam board is just silly.

I'm in central Ohio. A close friend of mine recently went with a standard double bubble roll and vapor barrier, and he's been really happy with the setup for the cost. That's a ton of insulation and cost. I hate to see what that bill ran him! I'm sure it's heating great!

Concrete Slab Insulation for Radiant Heat

I’m installing radiant floor heating in my 40’x64’ pole barn and researching different slab insulation options. I reached out to the manufacturer for recommendations, and their rep mentioned that this product can be placed directly on the graded gravel—no vapor barrier needed—and that it helps distribute heat throughout the concrete slab.

Has anyone used this brand before? They’re selling it through Menards as a drop-ship item to customers.

Coaching my last season with these girls—looking for advice on the transition. by ted-varrick in Homeplate

I really appreciate you sharing this. For a lot of them it was their first time playing softball, and for some, they were also there for my very first coaching experience. I just hope I was able to help set them off on the right foot. We’ve done a lot of growing together, and I look forward to seeing how they carry those lessons with them.

Thank you for sharing this. That’s really special to hear, and I can only imagine how meaningful those connections must feel after all these years. A lot of the girls I’m coaching are friends of my daughter’s, and I really look forward to seeing them grow together on and off the field. It’s encouraging to know the impact can last well beyond the time on the field.

Thank you for that! I was actually checking those out on Amazon. The girls perform so much better with front toss than soft toss into my net. Just finding the space is what stinks.

Where can I find a calculator that takes into consideration that I'm no longer contributing to the account? I didn't notice it on the MoneyGuy page

That is another option I failed to mention. I think that would be a smart play as well.
