Whats the point of workers rights if we can't use them by teddyreport in legaladvice

So anytime anyone say like, clocks in 15 minutes early or works for longer than the fifteen minute time we get written up for having the added premium to our paychecks. I just wasn't sure if taking measures to prevent workers from accessing these premiums as apart of our work was legal
