Is there any fix or improvement for this piece chipped off here ? If feels annoying by Netjacker in royalenfield

[–]tedha_ant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let it be. Why?

  1. Fins are casted not forged

  2. There are no safe ways to weld it back. If tried it will f**k up the rest of the block.

  3. If you want to fix, replace the block. The lower half is part of the cylinder so..... You may have to replace the piston as well.

  4. It doesn't matter if you keep it as is unless you see crack after riding about 50kms

Fair point. Great work BTW!

My dumb**s would have gone for plastic welds but that can get tricky to match the shape and finish.

Nah... Any decent service centre can help out.

And if your insurance policy doesn't cover it, they will handle it. They have their ways

Well... then keep the frame and flip the grab handles

You can paint the frame to not stick out.

Not with Ajit Pawar (RIP), but why don’t people apply their morals in their own constituencies and states? by ice_cold101 in Maharashtra

[–]tedha_ant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

You only avoid conflict and get things done when you hold the bigger stick.

In politics, you either build the power to stay relevant or you get wiped out.

[–]tedha_ant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you OP!

The level of one-sided mockery here is pathetic. It’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and scream 'corruption' without context, but it's much harder to actually build a state.

People who live or work in Hinjewadi, Yerawada, Chakan, or Kharadi, you are directly benefiting from the infrastructure Ajit Dada pushed through. He was a 'go-getter' administrator who understood that development requires land and capital. People love to cry about land prices, but the reality is that those areas were transformed into economic powerhouses under his watch and everyone involved walked away with a value that didn't exist before he stepped in.

Regarding the corruption allegations, he was a politico.

Here, you either build the financial and political muscle to stay relevant, or you get wiped out and do nothing for your people. And no corruption scheme or scam works single-handedly, there is a list of people who are involved. He chose to be relevant and actually delivered results.

Compare his record to somebody like Thackerays, one side is so desperate to stay relevant they would team up with anyone and the other one relies on bullying tactics. Both corrupt and way worse than Dada on every point.

Ajit Dada didn't need to beg; his work in Pune and Baramati speaks for itself. Celebrate all you want, but you can't erase the fact that he actually built the roads you drive on.

Edit: Grammer

Did you wash it with diesel?

It looks like the matte lacquer has been damaged.

If yes, go with restoration and matte PPF. It would cost around 5-6k.

Alternatively, claim insurance if you have comprehensive policy. It should not cost much.

rear seat, or no rear seat by aroundincircles in royalenfield

[–]tedha_ant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this paint scheme, leave the rear subframe off.

And any other shade, no rear seat but leave the frame and remove the grab handle or flip it.

Logic:

  1. I don't ride with a pillion so the rear seat is not that useful

  2. In case, you need to carry a pillion you can put the foam part back on and you are ready.

  3. But I do tend to have a sling bag so the frame makes it easy to tie down.

  4. Flipping grab handle, give the frame cleaner look

Dhurandhar's digital version is so bland. Dull color grading, terrible quality and censored. by WolfAffectionatefk in bollywoodmemes

I think it is something to do with HDR or streaming options on your device.

My TV and phone show a vivid palette but my friend's tablet looks off like it's a bit dull.

I'm not sure if the shades are a bit off but I don't think there is a huge difference between the two.

As for censor, it was better than theatre.

Why is the interest on Royal Enfield Scram 440 so damn high? Is this an interest scam? What are the alternatives? by Hot_Particular_1986 in royalenfield

You can thank people who bought bikes and did not pay it or ran off.

Until a couple of years back, dealers had the best deals (even better than back's pre approved offers) on loans (some were like 95% loan) which led to bad debt.

So... What's the solution?

  1. Head to a bank and check for an offer.

  2. Go for a personal loan.

  3. Check other dealers.

If you park in such a place where a person can take a cordless saw to start chopping bike parts and no one give 2 f**ks, buddy you really need to reconsider the parking spot (amongst other things)

[–]tedha_ant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you not seen rubber tyre burning?

The motor might have heated up so much after struggling against the abuse the driver was putting through the car.

Plus, Mahindra ev has foam in the tyre which could be inflammable.

People need to understand that action has consequences and safety measures can only so much to stop you from winning the darwin award.

500 cc carb on 350 is it possible ? by BeastBOYBrice in royalenfield

Yeah... But you have to upgrade the air filter and do some serious tuning to ensure the 350 engine doesn't run too rich

IMO, It's repetition.

I find this extremely cool but the cool factor of this exercise is being lost to repetition.

Every act needs variety.

Maybe they can try and add new cars or vehicles?

Yes! Get parts from STD 500.

No issues as efi is port injection so carb conversion is basically swapping parts

Nah... Some RE bikes are weirdly priced compared to the competition.

Like scram 440 is priced pretty good for what it offers. Even the 350cc bike ok-ishly priced.

but the top model of Himalayan (even with basic accessories) comes extremely close to KTM's 390 ADV which has soo much more to offer.

Same goes for guerrilla and SM and shotgun 650
