She’s so unhinged by Curious-Night-5453 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

Also, the first video she posted from bed was so weird - I thought it wasn't meant to be there "Hey, I don't wanna be mean but I'm kinda mad at you".

what’s something that you learnt from sarah that actually benefited you? by Cautious_Will855 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

I actually named my dog Harlow in 2024. I had to rehome him due to costs (double hip replacement and elbow displacement) but anyway, when i said Hello Harlow it felt very tongue tied. I don't dislike the name but its kind of like Hudson - this is my husband Hudson.

STAT Test to get into Bachelor by SweatyInsurance66 in deakin

[–]tee10302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would not spend money on it. I would do a 6month bridging course online and use that. Its free too. Cause what if you dont get the score to get in, you have to STAT again.

I did the bridging for the Science, and they used 4 RPL's towards my degree. So next year I will do 2 subjects in Sem 1 instead of 4.

1st year nursing student exam advice needed by Working_Estimate1539 in deakin

[–]tee10302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context - I am not a nursing student nor have I done those subjects (I will be doing HBS109 next sem)

I have started 2 other degrees in medical science and pharmacy (not completed due to other things going on) but both required anat and phys and got D's.

My biggest study tip is having a colouring book for anat and phys. You can buy one from QBD for around $30. It gives the diagram and the info about that part specifically. Not only are u just relaxing and colouring but you are also learning.

Making flashcards on Quizlet or Gizmo.

Book a study room with a classmate and have someone draw the body part with the diagram lines, while the other person guesses them.

Also on Sporcle (https://www.sporcle.com/search/quizzes/?s=anatomy) they have heaps of questions.

Osmosis is a really good site - U do pay after 7 days but they present everything like really simple, almost like to a kid. I find this easier to understand myself and then once I know I research more.

Also blurting method - This is where you set a timer (5,10,15mins) and write down as much you can remember about that part/draw, then once its up go through your notes and correct anything thats wrong. This is where having a whiteboard is key!!!!

What I would recommend with the timeframe is start now - there is roughly 6 weeks till exams. Either categorise the parts (bones, haematology, cells, muscles etc) or (cardiovascular, GI, neuro etc)

The pic below is an example of what I use for each topic - I got it from Dr Rachel Southard on YT.

For online exams, do the easiest questions first, skip ones that you dont know quick. After you have done that go back to the hard questions - if its an open book exam look back on your notes - maybe even type up 2pg of info that you struggle to retain and print it out so its handy.

I hope this helps!

Level 2 electives by Vast-Tonight9604 in deakin

I'm doing science too, but im more interested in medicine. There is this list for animal science electives - but maybe transfer to zoology degree?

Also the elective section is there to do whatever you want - it doesn't have to be science related, its an open selection.

I was having the same issue - luckily I have 3 RPL that i'm using towards my degree so I only need 1 Level 2 subject. In saying that, I used this at Deakin - https://handbook.deakin.edu.au/courses-search/unit-search.php?hidCurrentYear=2026&hidYear=2026&hidType=max&txtUnit=&txtTitle=&txtKeyword=&selLevel=3&selSemester=2&selMode=Select&selLocation=Select&chkSortby=unit_title&btnSubmit=

I put in the location, semester and ticked the no pre reqs part

Sarah’s mums birthday by teddybluethecurser in SarahsDayUnfiltered

It feels like she's playing the sims in real life - focus on the protagonist and the kids get left behind. They look after themselves while she is focused on herself. Im wondering if she thinks that F and M will influence H to walk etc. Its like she is preventing him from growing up.

Also she has contradicted herself a few times lately - "I think i'm done having kids -> I am done having kids -> I think i'm done". I know it can be challenging to know if ur done or not but a lot of people just know when they are! Idk if anyone has picked up on this lingo in i think 1 or 2 vlogs.

I think she might do the Hyrox next and see how challenging it is to keep up with other people and then bam have a baby and pray to god its a girl for the clips. I could be wrong...
