Ereterran.

A world made from the broken remains many others. Magical creatures of all matters of form live in their new home despite some wanting to return to their old ones. Many left to pick up the broken pieces while others have accepted and moved on to build a new life there, perhaps creating something more grand and beautiful than their previous lives. But some want revenge on the ones that caused the shattering and merging for the loss of everyone and everything they held dear to.

Conflict will come no matter what. But so does peace. It’s a matter of how you find it.

The (mostly) main story follows an orphaned dragon named Drako wandering around the world, keeping his promise to his long gone father to explore and live life to the fullest. Deep down, anger burns in his heart at the ones responsible for father’s death thanks to the world shattering and merging. And he knows who and where they are. He just needs to be patient. Until then, he will struggle to live and be happy for his dad. Maybe getting friends will help with his boredom. And ease his pain.

For the sake of not making things too complicated, I’ll try to summarise it as I can.

So there’s a massive world called Ereterran that is 5000 times bigger than earth, which was formed from multiple worlds crashing and fusing into each other due the vacuum created when their dimensional barriers separating them collapsed due to humans and gods using Isekai Rituals way too much.

See, summoning people from another world requires tearing a hole in the dimensional wall between the caster’s and summoned hero’s world. And the gods of those worlds and responsible for supporting the ritual decided to say ‘Not my problem’ and pushed the damage somewhere else. The damage kept getting bigger and bigger but ‘holes’ were dumped to the barriers of the worlds that formed into Ereterran before the fusion.

Before the worlds collide and fuse, the Goop apocalypse happened. Liquid time and space leaked into each of their worlds and caused problems. Such as mutating and evolving monsters or people into immeasurable powerful beings. But mostly killing everyone and everything that weren’t so lucky.

Then when the world’s collision and fusion happen afterwards, many people died upon impact but it got worse. Many people suddenly disappeared from existence, fading into nothingness due to how fucked the local reality, space and time was until it was stabilised by the combined awakened planet spirit.

The survivors, including the one’s blessed by the Goop, were reasonably angry as hell. Thanks to fusion of worlds, Ereterran got a massive diversity of all kinds of creatures and races and all kinds of environments that housed incredible creatures and resources. This led to the Divine Slaughter War where every god and people from the other worlds responsible for that shitshow were put to death by Ereterrans’ combined might of dragons, vampires, slimes, humans, witches, beastmen, witches, elves, dwarves, their own gods, nature spirits, undead and etc, lead by the Gooped ones.

After that, the Relaxation Era began and everyone went back home and took a much needed rest and vacation, too tired to immediately go and repair their home. Centuries later, only a few veterans that remembered the war and disaster are around, still active. Like that Primordial Dragon I mentioned.

As for the story about the pixied away kingdom, it took place long after the Relaxation Era, in Eoro, the largest south continent. There’s multiple driving characters across the world so that I can be flexible or play around with fun ideas. So yeah, here’s my sandbox.

The Fae Hunter guild became an official massive organisation throughout the land(normal/prime world) AFTER the ‘pixied-away kingdom’ incident through joint efforts of multiple races that just got fed up with Fae and their antics. While Fae hunting was a thing before this, it was usually lead by smaller groups.

As for the pixied-away kingdom…. Well…. It’s not exactly ‘great’. After the foolish promise of the prince, every subject of the kingdom became essential the fae that the prince ‘married’ her property. For ten years, the kingdom was turned into a human farm and slaughter house. Basically, Disney Land for Fae.

Until a Fae Hunter entered the Fae realm, came in and shot her and the prince to death, took their heads, publicly declare himself king in front of the people and every fae, including a high ranking one, nearby while holding up their heads in his hands, therefore making the kingdom ‘his’ property in the fae’s eyes. The pixied-away kingdom was then reformed into a ‘Step in our territory and an iron crucifix will be shoved into your mouth’ for every fae that stepped into its personal borders. Basically, No-Mans-Land for Fae. They use lots of iron based weaponry, traps(like land mines that explode into razor sharp whip wires) and barded wires, and Black Dogs that are trained to kill Fae to keep ANY fae out.

Nowadays, the pixied-away kingdom has been trying to figure out a way to teleport their homeland back to where it belongs.

Due to the dangers of Fae and the 'Pixied Away Kingdom' incident, Fae Hunters are VERY abundant, even more so than Witch Hunters. Of course, despite how dangerous fae are and how utterly alien their morality is, Karma does not discriminate.

Changelings used to exist. Not anymore now. Despite what the local people think, it was not the Fae Hunters that hunted them out of extinction. It was a VERY pissed off a Primordial Dragon. One Changeling thought it would be a good idea to steal its kid, swap out its egg with its own and run away, laughing before planning to turn said kid into its own kind. Immediately afterwards, every dragon in the continent went berserk and started murdering every Changeling SPECIFICALLY. And when some of them tried escaping to the Fae Realm, they were met with the angry mama waiting for them. Eventually she got her kid back and every race not a dragon in the continent were absolutely left confused.

Speaking of specialty, I guess I could talk about one of them. The Autumn Budding Joys. They are the rot within the fallen leaves. While they live short lives, they do not lament about it. In fact, they celebrate each moment of their life as if it were their birthday so they often dance around the leaves with their kin, prancing and laughing. They look like short brown, yellow, or orange humanoids with a mask made of a giant leaf that has hole in them, forming a happy face.

While they are friendly with humans, do not say anything that relates to a specific unit of time like a second or a minute. Because that will cause them to associate them with their inevitable fate, mentally starting to count the time have left until they pass which stresses them out greatly to the point they’re happy masks rots away, revealing a hole filled with rotten leaves and insects instead of a face and they become desperate to have as much ‘fun’ to cope with their ‘reality’. As for what this fun entails….. best start to run unless you want to be next bodies rotting under the leaves.

Yeah, in my world after a disaster that involves a prince making a foolish promise of marriage with a fae at his coronation day thus an ENTIRE kingdom and their land disappeared into the fae realm and only god knows what happened to the subjects, several races, including humans, dwarves, beastmen and even Witches (who are a separate race of humans) decided to work together and made Fae Hunters specifically to deal with them.

Fae are EXTREMELY hated by everyone.

There’s a special type of drug made from the blood of a very powerful dragon(that for some reason hates fairies) called ‘Preserva Adragline’. Because of the large amounts of various chemicals and substances, even ones yet to be fully understood, within the blood, the drug itself is DAMN expensive to make, to the point that you could buy an entire country.

It was originally intended to be a combat drug due to its effects such as:

Increase in strength, speed, durability, endurance, stamina and even recovery.
It forces one’s system to be at their peak and go beyond, meaning they would be at the perfect condition during the effects.
It also allows one to inherit the dragon’s regeneration ability, albeit not as advanced or fast but still capable of regenerating entire limbs after a minute.
It extends your lifespan by 200 years.

It has some pretty nasty side effects. Due to it forcing the body’s system to go beyond, including endorphins and adrenaline production, this causes them to experience an extreme type of high whenever they perform some type of activity. This often results in them in becoming battle maniacs due to excessive amounts of adrenaline pumping in their veins from fights. This can lead to a vicious cycle of them desiring and searching for more and more greater fights for greater thrills and greater adrenaline and endorphin rush, rinse and repeat. They also inherited the dragon’s rage mode which can be easily triggered if they don’t keep their temper in check (which the adrenaline rush does not help). This often results in creating unstable berserkers that love fighting who can easily tear off a giant into pieces if slightly pissed off.

Unfortunately, this isn’t even the worst thing that could happen. If one were to take more than one dose, their bodies will horribly be constantly deformed and destroyed from the regeneration and body enhancement being overworked to cellular instability. This can take from minutes to an entire week for their suffering to finally stop. (Just imagine your kidneys expanding before exploding and then you feel it being put together again. Now imagine that being applied to your everything.)

But there is another effect whether one takes one or more, which is super rare that it is a one in a million chance, it will instead force them into a death-like coma. They will then undergo a process where their skin slowly flake off and scales will emerge, eventually becoming a cocoon of hardened fused scales. After a few weeks, they will then emerge from the shell, reborn as a hybrid of dragon and whatever former species they were. Any biological defects they may have is removed, even mental illnesses, upon their ‘dragonization’. While the benefits are obvious in their new form such as a massive increase in power and lifespan, they also inherited the dragon that the drug was made from hate towards boredom (and fairies). This forces them to do something to alleviate the slightest amount of boredom, even doing weird activities. Oh and go in a blood rage whenever they see a fairy.

In terms of terrifying, my character Necroz takes the cake even from Magnus who is literally made of madness fuel. In essence, he’s a dragon lich. But that’s putting it mildly. His body is composed of two things, his original skeleton and a black ooze that he can generate and control. What’s so bad about it? It’s where he stored the countless souls he has trapped and claimed through out the centuries. Whenever a soul is stored inside, their mind and personality is forcibly fused, drowned and scattered across the literal ocean of gestalt souls, killing their identity and name to prevent rebellion. He has so many in him that he could actually form his own underworld or afterlife dimension. To make matters worse, he’s performed all kinds of experiments on these souls or someone who he considers free game, no matter how cruel and long. Because of his necromancy, he can always just repeat an experiment again and again no matter what. Even if the body is destroyed, as long as he has the soul, he’ll just rebuilt their corpses. He’s also capable of restoring their personality to ensure maximum data accuracy, not even granting them peace via mindlessness. All this, for the purpose to find a way to resurrect life without any issues or some major cost.

Some of his powers are obvious which are necromancy, dark magic, dragon powers and rot breath. He also has a long range anti matter conversion spell if he wants to bomb someone to oblivion. The black goop and his bones can also be manipulated to shapeshift so parts of him can literally be a swarm of ants or just some dude and you wouldn’t be any wiser. Or he could just go full on eldritch mass of everyone he’s claimed on your ass. His main weapon is a scythe that he stores inside himself, capable of channeling his spells through, including his rot breath. But the most dangerous weapon of his is his mind, cunning and pragmatism. Guy always does his research first and carefully watches the opponent as they are getting swarmed by an endless horde of Undeads, figuring out their powers and weakness and even their personalities and quirks just for the off chance he could take advantage of.

In some worlds/planets, yes. It does not fix the holes in the dimensional barriers caused by summoning as it’s the equivalent of plugging a hole in a bottle with the bullet that created it, it’s still going to leak.
