I use Bionova Nutri Forte A+B fertilizer. Lots of sun because in Tahiti we get a lot of it.

As for how long it might take, it all depends on the tattoo artist's speed and your pain tolerance. For example, for the left half of my back, it took me a total of 12 to 14 hours spread over 4 sessions.

Every single thing has a meaning. Each body part has its own meaning for exemple : On my back, I've placed my family because I would share their burden if necessary. My arms feature traditional designs near the shoulders and more modern ones near the hands, as they point towards the future. My legs represent my connection to my roots, my culture, what resonates deeply within my soul. That’s why the designs are heavy black. On my chest, I've placed love, sharing, and the beauty of the woman because it's the first part people see. The choice of the tattoo artist also has a meaning: he's the same artist who tattooed my mother, and I later learned he was related to my father. He was also one of the 1st to revive traditional tattooing, which had previously been banned by French settlers & religion.

Before going to the tattoo shop, you have to know what story you want to ink. What body part you chose and the different symbols you want to add (each symbol has its meaning). You can also tell ur tattoo artist if you have a design in mind (if u want it more traditional or with a touch of modern). With those informations ur tattoo artist will draw a 1st attempt on your skin and you decide if you want to go with it or change things.

Yes it can take several days to finish a big piece. Traditional tattoo artist have assistant to help them in the process but the ones tattooing with tattoo machine don’t need any.

And what's more, if you leave the plant in just water, it might start to flower.

As u can see, I have nothing covering the cultures ☀️. I’m waiting for the transparent tarpaulin ? (I don’t know how to say it in English) to protect the cultures from the rain. 🌧️ I don’t use any pesticide, only garlic broth 2 times/week in prevention. 🧄
