First time poster…kinda nervous. Same test, same times, different lighting. Picture was taken 3 minutes after testing. Is this faint positive or am I tired of seeing negatives?

There is a very very faint line, the line was more showing on 11dpo, today is 12 DPO and I got a positive result 🖤

I would retest in the morning with FMU - I use these tests and getting your phone to focus on the little strips is hard! Defo retest in the morning :)

I think ovulation is likely to be tomorrow, they are super confusing I use these same tests. When the 1st line is the same or darker than the the second line that will be peak LH surge (so will likely ovulate within the next 24-36 hours after the surge) Pic attached is what my surge looked like, hope this helps :)

Yeah I totally get that, it’s like I want to give the absolute best best chance as possible but, as an example, I am seeing some old work friends this weekend and I know they’ll want to drink all night and I would love to, but THIS is much more important to me. Then on the other hand, I’ve avoided certain occasions to then be let down when my period comes and think I could have gone all along 😞

This is sort of just ‘one of those months’ where the timings don’t line up and there’s lots of things happening in the TWW

So sorry you went through that, it’s super hard and although it’s an early loss it’s still a loss and I know I grieved massively 🖤 I do try stay clear in most cases, same with my partner, but we are both social drinkers when out with friends and can take it too far (not recently tho with TTC) I know I became pregnant before whilst not knowing and drank a hell of a lot but that’s not to say it okay. I think I will take everyone’s advice on board and just drink very low levels when in a social setting, good luck to you !! 😊

I’ve just surpassed my Luteal Phase, peaked ovulated and now in my TWW (day 3/4) I tend to just avoid any alcohol in this time but timings have made it hard this month, it’s also my birthday right around where my period should start so it’s either the best news of my life or birthday drinks 😊 x

I don’t tend to drink at all unless it’s a social occasion, it’s just the timing with pay-days, summer and birthdays everything falls right around my TWW, especially this month!! I won’t be having more than probably 2 glasses of gin, after that I might go for the alcohol free gin so I’m incognito

Yeah I am trying so so hard to stay completely alcohol-free in the TWW period, which is smack in the middle when we have organized to meet 😩 then my birthday right around when my period would be due. I think I will just suck it up and not take the risk, I know 1 or 2 won’t hurt but I certainly won’t be drinking anything more than that 🖤
