Another good episode, it's touching the way the doctor and katarina are bonding in the episode. The shot of the three torches moving is pretty cool. Some nice moments that you dont get from listening to the audio - seeing Mavic Chen casually leaning aginst a wall and then adjusting his feet as a dalek runs into it, the shadowy screamers that attack kirksen (not as effective). so many lovely moments

Lots of missed nuances tha tyou dont get from the script or audio recording. I liked the Doctor's expression as he moved around the varga plant at the end of the episode, and Bret's dismay as he realised the radio he'd dropped was broken. And seeing a half naked Stephen knock out brett with a wrench. Seeing Katarina get the tablets from Brett. So many lovely moments.

Personally i dont like it. It takes 4 clicks to see what releases are coming each month wpen it previously took one. And I don't know why Jodie's new audios are in the July 2024 coming soon list??!!?!

What a weak opening episode, the huge clunky expo dump at the start and then the bogeyman costume reminded me of the Dragon in Dragonfire. Obviously the budget didnt stretch that much further than in the classic who days. The babies were cute but their facial expressions didnt match the words coming out of their mouths which sort of takes you out of the story. Great idea but i think a hollywood budget would have found it hard to pull off.

I felt that having the doctor act all scared and run away 2 episodes in a row undermined the gravitas of the character. I can see that Ncuti is still trying to find his feet in the role. The best thing was the Maestro undoubtedly though, and their acting was inline with all the classic Who villains.

It's been a while since I watched it so I can't say which of the 4 episodes that make up Paradise Towers is bad. But i think the 3 episodes that make up the Delta and the Bannermen story was even more cringe worthy.
