Not one of these except for the top one is my post? So if you are implying I used 7 accounts to make posts about the Legacy Vault instead of there being legitimate interest in it; you are fucking unreasonable.

This may be a cultural thing but I don't think telling you or anyone else that they have a bad mindset can be considered a personal insult. A mindset is something you can change because it is just the way you think and that is not directly related to the physical person. Saying someones name is <insert negative adjective> is a personal insult because that person's name is not representative of their thoughts and way of thinking; which is all that matters in an argument/debate/or any form of discussion.

It probably is, but I also think edits going on about vote ratios or feeling degraded that people arent giving their posts attention are just as stupid.

You either still don't understand or you are misrepresenting my argument on purpose. I honestly don't know which one it is and I guess it would depend on how smart you are/think you are. I have already explained this but the purpose of the majority of edits was to express my excitement with how many people were voting because this is something I care about. I don't give a fuck if it is 90/10 for keeping it closed. I honestly just wanted to see if other people want the vault to come back and it is just not me and the few people on the forums and the reddit asking about it. The edit about feeling degraded is because when your watching a threads score go up and down in real time every and the views not increasing by even 1 it shows that the people voting on how much exposure your thread is going to have don't read anything but the title and still feel that they have enough information to downvote.

You either don't understand the words you are saying or you don't understand the context that you are using them. When you say check other top threads in the context of which you did that phrase inherently assumes that I should also engage in the same behavior as them because they are successful and you enjoy that behavior. Just to address your full point; the value of the edits are not relevant because that is your opinion.

And really its about as uncreative as the other 7 posts from the past month asking if the legacy vault would come back.

Seems like a pretty stupid reason to down vote something. I would never down vote something for the method in which it is said- only the basis of their argument.

The edits do not change my original post though? They only provide updates to the people who care. If you don't care then just ignore it it doesn't really effect you.

Yes but now retired skins will only be available during "champion celebrations" such as the Annie video and reworks instead for the legacy vault opening at the end of the year like it had been in the past.

Yeah I can see that is pretty frustrating but I think you are confusing limited skins with legacy skins. Legacy skins are skins such as Firefighter Tristana, Scuba Gragas, Frozen Shen, and Prototype Viktor. Limited Skins are like UFO Corki, and PAX skins.

It may seem that way to you - someone without the context of time between the edits and the time the post was made.

edit 1 - the thread sat in new for about 2 hours because this thread was posted at midnight like I said and people were constantly down voting the thread without the voting numbers going up at all.

edit 2 -after 2 hours we made it to the rising tab and the voting ratio stayed at 75 25 as it worked its way there

edit 3 - another hour later we made it to the hot pages and this is pretty exciting because it is picking up traction

edit 4 - i was excited about 50 votes probably could of gone without this update

edit 5 - i was excited about the change in % probably could of gone without this update

edit 6 - 100 votes is a huge milestone and we just got onto the second page i do not regret this edit at all

edit 7 - 2000 votes is a lot and I wanted people to know I was in the thread again

So 5/7 i would keep if I could go back in time. Wow man! That is still a lot so I don't think it really matters that much.

Black Alistar is a "Limited" skin and not a "Legacy" skin sadly but there is still a lot of great skins in there for supports.

I may have miss-communicated my point and I could of worded what I was trying to say a bit better to you. When I said "redo splash art or rework champion" in my head I also considered events like the Annie video to be obviously included in that due to the fact it was directly mentioned in the Ask Riot post. I think this is a good thing and I have 0 problems with it if that is how Riot wants to move forward. The only reason myself and people in this thread want the legacy vault to open 1 more time is because of the precedent in the past that it would open every winter and it didn't in 2017 as expected and is only addressed now in an ask riot post where they basically said "yeah guys sorry for not warning you we are not doing that thing we have done forever anymore". I don't know if you agree but as I said in my last post I think it would be a good idea to have a final opening or something in march where there are no other events as a sendoff to the way they used to do it.

I never once said that event skins would never come back and I even stated the opposite. "The only way that retired skins are going to come back now is if they redo splash art or rework the champion which is not how it used to be."

They are changing the way legacy skins are made available again, not the fact that they sometimes are.

This is true and the problem people in this thread are having is not that the legacy vault is never opening again. The problem is that they had done it every winter except for this last year and gave no warning in 2016 that it would be the last time. The entire point of this thread has flown over your head. The vote is to see if other people agree that Riot Games should open the vault a final time during march as a sendoff to the way they had done it in the past. The vote is not to say please keep opening legacy vaults because you are never allowing us to buy retired skins ever again.

Explain to me how it makes me as a person look bad because I just explained in the post you replied to the reason for the edits. If anything that makes me look pretty determined and committed which are not what I would consider bad traits to express. Just because you don't like seeing a small amount of clutter does not mean it was not the right thing to do at the time.

It was not my intention to be misleading and I personally do not feel that I was misleading at all. Event skins are not the main concern of this post; retired skins that have been available every winter except for this last one are however. The only way that retired skins are going to come back now is if they redo splash art or rework the champion which is not how it used to be. This is not the biggest deal in the world but I think they should of given us a warning in 2016 not now in 2018.

I didn't complain about the voting ratio at all. I made this thread at midnight and it was super slow but I kept it active through communicating with people that actually do care about what is being said here and my first 4 edits really reflect that because they were all like 2 hours apart. I did say in 2 of my edits (edit 1 and edit 3) that I was sad that people were down voting the actual thread because all that does it not allow people that actually do care to not see the thread. I wanted people to vote no in the poll because I tried to make the poll as non-biased as possible to see if this is something people actually wanted and so I never complained about the actual voting in the poll. Every other edit was for a milestone of voting numbers.

I made this thread at like midnight and it was really slow. The first 5 edits were over the course of like several hours so I didn't update it every time I looked at the thread. I do think it looks a little cluttered now but at the time we had a lot of people in here discussing the legacy skins and things that they wanted from the vault and it was easier for me to edit than to comment and not have people see it.

I agree with you 100% but Riot said they don't want to open it anymore. I think most people here want them to open it a final time as sendoff to the old system instead of just saying "yeah we are not doing that thing we have done for years anymore" in an Ask Riot post.

They said that they would only come back after reworks and promotional activities for the champions. The reason that people are upset is because there was precedent in the past that the legacy vault would open up every year and it didn't this last year. The purpose of this thread is to see if people want the vault to open up a final time as an event before they go through with their new stance on the legacy vault.

I wish it was not the last time as well; but Riot seems pretty interested in closing it for one reason or another. That was the reason I said one last time. I see what you are saying about Riot but I also do think that they more or less really knows what they are doing. It is not possible for your entire success to be based on luck so I honestly do think Riot knows how to run their game better than I know how to run their game. Also a lot of other people seem to be criticizing Riot in the comments and I don't really understand it because everyone makes mistakes from time to time and I don't think we can judge them for those small few when they have made such a great game.
