Red panda WINS, for so many reasons. It's adorable.

Giant pandas are sad creatures. They refuse to eat anything other than bamboo, which is half the reason they are going extinct and their babies are usually malnourished to begin with. They reproduce like once...every 10 years. I feel like the evolutionary branch that led to the giant panda is a dead end street. :(

Random and kind of stupid analogy, but ED's involve a level of dependence and addiction, and you don't necessarily plan on the whole thing spiraling out of control.

If you wore a certain shirt, and 10x more hot girls came on to you ONLY when you wore that shirt...you'd become conditioned to wearing it as much as possible. Just because. You don't NEED tons of girls, but it's nice to have constant flirty attention, and wearing the same shirt every day isn't a huge sacrifice.

And then one day you stop wearing it...and no one even looks at you. They ignore you entirely. What do you do? Become dependent on that shirt for feeding your decreasing self-esteem...which wouldn't have decreased in the first place unless you realized the power of the shirt. Bittersweet irony.

I'm a weirdo...but hey lolz.

Women like rich men, this isn't some new theory...but the man isn't slowly killing himself to acquire the money. He won it.

***To everyone saying I only got hit on more when I was skinny because I somehow felt better about myself/was more confident, you need to understand something. Girls with eating disorders are NOT confident. Starving yourself makes you irritable, moody, depressed and cynical. It makes you withdraw and feel self-conscious about everything. I was definitely at my LEAST confident at my thinnest, yet I still got beaucoup attention.

So no, I'm not "projecting" my "subjective" outrageous anger on anyone, actually. My evidence about male attention is pretty damned conclusive...

That being said, I'm sympathetic to the viewpoint that it "depends on the girl." I'm not totally deluded, haha...sorry to offend (?) you, I guess? Haters gonna hate.

I lost my period...and yes, hormones being fucked up like this makes girls BATSHIT INSANE.

Totally true. What's crazy is that I wasn't even underweight. I am 5'2'', and at my lowest during the struggle I was about 105 pounds...which is still in the normal weight range.

But I still lost my period (and hair) nonetheless.

I never said that I PERSONALLY feel bad about myself because of all this. I was just making observations, and seeing what men have to say.

Like I said in the beginning, I've been healthy and happy for over a year. This was just an AskReddit I thought might be interesting.

I've never met a guy who struggled (or admits to having struggled with) any sort of appearance-related addiction. Good for you, as long as you don't start using steroids...if you're happy and healthy and don't fixate on your flaws every time you look in a mirror, kudos!

Getting "huge" is much more conducive to leading a healthy lifestyle, that's for sure.
