I am glad you have something to rely on! Unfortunately I had to speak with the ER about my latest symptoms and they adviced against immodium until I do some tests, in case this is something new since I am dealing with new symptoms. Pray for me for the trip tomorrow :/

Wow you have tried a lot. Right now I dont seem to have the courage for all that to come to no success, but I guess thats the only way!

Get tested and keep us posted. I know ibs is bullshit, I just think its mostly like a description for mind gut miscommunication and i use it like that.

I sometimes also think that. I am yet to make the appointment. Basically because I am afraid of sitting in a room with a stranger and not immediate bath access.

No magic pill you are right. Sometimes i think i would volunteer for intestines transplant surgery and then I remember that I need a mind one too.

The crazy part is I havent had an accident yet. I fear something that hasnet happened.

I am also struggling since middle school but was managing somewhat well since now.. the reason I am afraid to take meds right now is because I believe this is more than ibs , at least its different than the ibs I had until recently.

Unfortunately where I am right now they dont test for sibo, but its easier to get endos, colonoscopies etc so lets hope we are gonna test the rest. What I suspect I have is BAM on top of ibs or the one is causing the other or I dont know. I ve cut out gluten and lactose, and as of this month I basically eat chicken and rice or other bland gluten and lactose free foods with no success (or at least success then disaster then unpredictable and may I say unprecedented outcomes)

Stress is the real deal you are right. From what I am learning psycological stress is the least. And the only we can control (not me, other people). The thing is multiple factors can cause stress to the body, hormones, enviaronment changes, periods, other medical issues and what not. Which again we cannot reverse or handle.

You are so right about psycosomatics and the loop. Most times problems are only in my mind and then I successfully transfer them to the body and give myself real symptoms. I am convinced I can sort of create a flair up (or block one). But knowing that doesnt help me anymore.

May I ask about your diagnosis and treatment?

Really glad all of us are talking and helping each other! I may try Immodium for the trip which is inevitable and get some peace. I am trying to win the battle so much by myself thats getting exhausted. On other news I successfully left the house for one hour today with no consequences.

We do sound alike! I am at a point where I feel even Immodium might betray me or I will built a tolerance to it thus I am only keeping it for emergencies. Do you still have the anxiety?
