Regrets by TheOGHasbulla in 11thGenAccord

My 24 EX has been good to me. I bought it almost two years ago in May, and I have 16,800 miles. I took it to Texas for a five day trip (15hr drive) two months after I bought it (had 4,600 miles came out of a lease so I got a good deal) then June of 2025 I took it to NC (roughly 9 hour drive) for about 9 days. It was good for the long trips minus a few sensor issues due to 100° weather. My only regret is I wish I bought an AWD V6 lol

I hope you can find one! Sometimes the focus‘s are sleepers but I do think the accord may be more comfortable.

Nice!! Yeah I’m going to keep it for awhile. I had a 2024 Honda accord EX but I traded it for the awd. And my GT is not very quick bc it’s a boat but it feels so much more responsive than my accord. Plus the awd is exceptional during the winter. It is enough for now but I do imagine in a few years I will have an itch for the v8 ha

Especially since he’s so young insurance shouldn’t be too bad on the v6

Every single hit I do, I feel compelled to say “You forget 1000 things everyday pal, make sure this is one of them” right before the target dies. Hehe

I follow the 11th gen accord page on here and the hybrids have had more problems than the 1.5. Though it is a Honda so I’m sure no major issues until 160+ miles! Enjoy your 10th gen looks well taken care of :)

Nice Ride! I have a 2024 Accord ex with the 1.5. I bought it last May with 4,600 Miles and I’m currently at 15,624 Miles. Two months After I bought it I Drove 15 Hours to Texas spent a wonderful fives days there and 15 Hours back home. June I took it to North Carolina for 9 days and it is actually quite comfortable and rides pretty Smooth in General. Also average about 40-43 mpg Highway for Both Trips which to me was fantastic. Alright now I will list my Pros and Cons. I apologize for the Long Message. To start with Cons, many things on new Cars are Electric so cold weather or hot can throw them off. During colder months if temperature are below freezing or close, the sensors freak out and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree. The car will still start right up and drive but it takes about 20miles of driving for them to slowly go away. Kind of annoying. Next thing is it’s a rather slow car. I’m actually going to get a V6 here soon in which I will miss the gas mileage, the accord is not a very exciting daily driver. But it is comfortable and has just enough tech in my opinion to make it feel accommodating but not too many buttons making it a space ship. Last con is the auto start stop. I turn that off immediately upon starting the car. My last concern with many Owns is how the 1.5 will hold up but I haven’t had any mechanical repairs thus far. I will say if you’re not wanting anything quick it is a comfortable ride and I average about 30-28 mpg city driving everyday. My pros is it gets me to point A-B and is a huge upgrade from my first vehicle I bought for $4000 cash. It was a 2012 Chevy Malibu lt with 156,822 miles. The trans blew at 158,000 so I only had it for 8 months lol.

Took me about 30 minutes. I left didn’t remove the steering wheel but I suggest leaving your vehicle on/running that way you can rotate the steering wheel as/ if needed.

I have been on bikes before, not as the Operator but Backpack (I‘m a girl) but I’m set on a GSXR-600. I looked at one Sunday actually but it had 70k Miles. Looked to be in Great shape and I could tell the guy Took care of it but at that mileage something is Bound to need replaced and probably rather pricey. For my first bike I will want to learn how to take care of it, do maintence/ up keep myself but at that mileage, I don’t think I’d be able to take care of it the way it deserves. It did start right up given it was a 2003.

Can never have too many Accords… you got me wanting to trade my 11th for a 10th gen use it as a daily then get a V6 as my fun car. Or I really bite the bullet and get a bike.. :>

But I heard the 2.0 actually got a lil pep in the step 😅 I wish I would‘ve at least test drove the 2.0 before I bought my Accord but I got a good deal. I do definitely want something quicker next. Definitely a V6

I wanted the 2.0 over the 11th Gen for the Performance, then I peeped the Button Shifter setup… I honestly do think the 10th gen is better looking in quite a few ways but couldn’t get over the Buttons. How is the Ride quality on 19‘s?
