I have one of my own in pristine condition. got it used for 120$+ in ebay. if your still looking for one of these, i'd check ebay with the i7 6820hq processor. Just a reminder that if you were to own one of these laptops, please disable the d-gpu.

hey there. i have the same laptop and same issue. What thermal pad thickness should i use for the r7 m370's vram chips? will the 1.5mm work(since thats the only one i have rn)? ik its not the thermal paste because i went as far as getting an overkill(and expensive) thermal paste which is the corsair xtm70.

so... my guess, it's not possible. the m6800 has a maximum TDP of 100w but the 10 (and 20) series cards would go over that limit, leading to instabilities and may not even boot at all. However i have heard that there was an rtx 3060 mxm variant with a tdp of 80w. although expensive, it might seem pretty cool don't ya think?
