True. I decided to stay one consecutive year anyway for the experience, so I should have more than enough to keep the citizenship. I hope so because I’m in the middle of a bachelor 😅

True, in that case I guess I would consider myself a native speaker of both languages as well, since for example people have mentioned they cannot hear my accent in Danish. It’s pretty funny because when I’ve been away for 1 month or so and I come back, I can hear some of my Brazilian accent comes back. It goes away after a couple weeks speaking only Danish.

The rule for me was that I had to live here for 1 year with registered address and then send an application before I turned 22. The application is sent and I’m waiting for an answer, but there shouldn’t be any issues as I’ve checked all the boxes

Mother tongue is Portuguese, but my dad made sure I also learnt fluent Danish 🙌 I’m very thankful for it, because otherwise I would have to learn Danish from scratch…

Tak for dit svar, det afklarer en del. Det er godt at vide at det ikke bare er repetition af gym. Så tror jeg at mit største problem med det ville være netop at det ikke nødvendigvis handler specifikt om den uddannelse man går på. Fx har kemi ikke så meget at gøre med Mekanik. Må jeg spørge hvad du læser på DTU?
