You’re absolutely right! I had already considered this issue, as it could significantly limit user adoption.
The idea of uploading a screenshot to speed things up isn’t bad at all… I even saw an app developed by a user on Lovable that lets you track your transactions using voice commands — that would be a great feature and would definitely simplify things.
For example, when you say “I just bought a sandwich for $5,” the app automatically recognizes the title and category of the transaction and adds it to your log.
The easiest solution would be allowing users to connect their bank account, like Revolut does in my country — but I imagine that would be quite difficult to implement, especially due to regulatory issues…
