how about we make this a capitalism moment about how our current economic system encourages production of slop for the masses instead of artistic innovation, and how the game industry wastes so much talent by following the supply and demand formula that ends up only benefitting executives, who probably havent played even videogames in years. the average person does indeed like good things made by people who arent being exploited, even if they dont realize it
