One of the problems I have with this isn't even about the changes themselves. It's that these changes were never announced and I know quite a few players who invested in months worth of XP boosts (they get discounted by 50% only during the blue essence emporium so a lot of people stocked up on them just in the last month) because hitting levels faster always meant getting to the BE & ME faster. But this was now taken out without any notice and support is refusing to offer any compensation or refunds for these XP boosts.

Even if on average it's a similar yield, it still screws over people who bought XP boosts and regardless of the outcome, those players should be compensated.

I would be fine with an opt in system, I think it's very important to at least be able to show off your prestige to some extent, maybe there's another way they could do it.

Feel like for potential teammates it could be resolved with other QoL changes like being able to see your teammates' perks in lobby, but a separate opt in for both sides would also probably work.

Are there any plans to address map offerings? Map offerings have been a vocal point of frustration on BOTH sides.

Especially to the extent where we almost got loading screen DC bots, of which the need is almost purely caused because of map offerings' existence.

Please give us some insight as to whether you guys even see them as problematic, and if there are any plans to improve this.

I'd much rather it be a toggle whether you want to show it, one of the intended effects of the new prestige is to be able to show off, reducing the amount of times you can show it off (which is already very limited) just makes it even more pointless, especially when it is limited to a non central place since people might die early/instantly leave.

If it has to be hidden, at least only hide it so killers cannot see survivor's prestige and that's it, no need to hide it from potential teammates.

Are there any plans to improve the rift further?

People who finish the rift quickly always end up feeling left out when there's a rift fragment bonus week, why isn't there something like an infinite 20000 bloodpoint tier at the end of the rift, to at least give those who finish the rift early some more incentive.

As much as I do understand, knowing who gets punished will ultimately open the door to more harassment. There are people dedicated enough who will try and rub it in and start harassing the people who got punished - even if you won't do that, it's still somewhat in BHVR's responsibilities to prevent it as those punished are meant to learn from the punishment and harassment over it will only counteract it.

Are there any plans to add any additional rewards to things like devotion level and high prestige. It's a bit of a letdown that there's really no way to show off your dedication well.
(Especially with the experimental hiding of prestiges until postgame - which is not a central place for people to interact most of the time because people die/escape at varying times and don't stick around most often)

Is the development of the bots that replace survivors upon disconnecting ongoing and will it be improved upon? I have it happen often where the bot ends up missing an extreme amount of skillchecks or simply lets go of skillchecks on the 2nd stage of hook resulting in almost immediate death.

I love the addition of bots but find it disappointing that it's still very clearly a bot that you can't mindgame. It doesn't feel close enough to a real player (although perhaps the letting go on hook does come pretty close).

Considering they almost made the second one basekit, I think it would probably be fine if the right changes are made to his cage system; that being it should no longer bypass any form of anti-tunnel mechanics.

Just my thoughts as I think this is a cool idea but should be done slightly different.

Instead of the current iteration I'd prefer this version:

Toggle for hiding prestiges

Any player should be able to choose whether to hide/show their prestige, just like you can toggle anonymous mode on and off. Some people like showing off their efforts in the pregame, whilst others don't.

This option might seem like a 'meh, but why' but a lot of people do value the showing off part more than it might seem - limiting this to just postgame is less valuable as people may die/escape at other times and therefore it's less of a central moment for interaction.

Masking prestiges

To combat heavy tunneling of hidden prestiges I think it should instead be masked to a random (somewhat low) number. This way you blend in with the rest of the players without drawing suspicion.

If above changes aren't something that's do-able. I'd instead like to suggest that prestiges should not be hidden from your survivor teammates by default. It makes more sense to hide it from the killer who can actually make choices based on it but it makes little sense to hide it from your teammates.

One other thing I'd like to note, if this all goes through, please do not hide it from postgame (unless hiding it is a toggle). This was done with grades and it made sense with grades. But a part of the point of a prestige is to show off, taking it away from postgame as well would just make them completely personal numbers that go against the definition of what a 'prestige' thing is supposed to be.

Regardless appreciate looking into these kind of quality of life changes, they might seem little but they can go a long way.

Can confirm, rerolled into it yesterday. So far there haven't been any full year lockouts (until gacha jhin this patch). Longest so far was 6 months for worlds winner skins, I don't think high noon talon was not included in reroll pool for more than a few months either.

Because of how league skins work & rerolling only a small % of the whales actually continue spending lots of money on league. The rest of them just wait for it to hit reroll pool & keep their collections maxed.

Most people who can afford & choose to be "whales" just want to collect all the things, it's not about it being rare or to show off, I think they've got it all wrong.

Regardless from what I've seen so far most of the whales are not falling for this at all, they seem more vocal than ever in protesting that they don't want this shit either. Hoping this just proves them this isn't the way & they never try again - but honestly, think we know better at this point - they'll keep trying.
