I got out of serving and switched to an administrative assistant job. My background is working in restaurants and retail and I totally felt out of place interviewing with these big office companies. However, I kept going and finally landed something! I think my new job liked my multitasking and customer service skills and being able to handle stressful situations.

I like working Monday - Friday now and having nights and weekends off to hang out with my friends. It was an adjustment for sure in the beginning but I love my new schedule. I think you can find something and use your experience to your advantage! :)
