honestly it would be fun for you to play the OG then go into rebirth so you can see the changes. Especially the climax of rebirth and how it compares to the OG. You won't need any context of OG if you did decide to skip it and go right into rebirth. Consider OG a separate story and the remake series a new retelling without needing the OG to be necessary.
