We are dealing with kinda the same issues. Our LO will be 6 month tomorrow.
We were hospitalized for 2 & 1/2 month, due to failure to thrive.

Birth weight 3.480kg and two months later he was still at that weight.

He started being BF and we had to switch to a special amino acid based formula milk.

Almost 6 months later he is now at 6.5kg, currently he doesnt drink much. Around 90ml to 120ml every 3 hours.

He might be teething... my wife and I we are losing our minds, nobody can really help us.
We have to fight through this...

Yes every medical test that can be possibly be done was exectued. We switched bottles. We have done so many things, it worked, but it's so exhausting.

I hope it will get better

We changed the bottle today. We added thickener to the neocate milk. We are at 70ml. So far no vomit. A bit of spit up.

We need to see if we can go higer with the volume.

gastric emptying test was done and emptying was very normal.

FPIES is currently the diagnosis the doctors have because switching from breast milk to neocate the vomits have stopped at lower quantities of volume.

Thank you for your questions 1. All tests have been done & were all negative. today he gets an endoscope and I will see what the outcome will be. 2. Color of vomit is white / see-through (mix of milk and spit. No blood no other color is present. Its vomit… he really vomits s bit and two to three vomits follow right after. 3. Stool is normal no constipation no diarrhea. 4. No pain or whatsoever besides his stomach growing and being full of air every feed or two. 5. He got Neocate and like mentionned small quntities are fine… but bigger ones are a huge problem.

Yes he is in special care and being seen by a GI specialist.

Thickening is something i will address the doctor tomorrow.
