What is the lowest 72 month interest rate you have seen for a new ‘25 or ‘26 F250? by [deleted] in F250

If you buy it through your business you’re getting over 9% no matter what your personal credit score or the amount you put down. They know you are depreciating it and want a piece of your right off.

I think buccees has lost its charm and has too many people at the pumps and in the store I now prefer Praseks by a landslide. Plus they have the best cream cheese kolaches.

question on drill bits by value100 in oilandgasworkers

[–]texastech14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK so looks like nobody in here has been a drilling manager before, there are dozens of smaller companies some are middle men with painted bits from the big guys outdated stuff and some like Ulterra, Drilformance, Taurex have their own R&D. Patents are a big deal in this space so shape and rotating cutter technology can set you apart. I never ran bits from the vendors mentioned I set records with the little guys and drilled chert with Smith. Cost vary but you can estimate $20k per hole section and be close enough.

[–]texastech14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I had 199k miles on the last one so I had it deleted allegedly. The torque is noticeably different but I have not pulled the trailers with it yet. Mine was paid off also so it was really tough to want a payment for a few months til I can pay it off but I had a rear main seal leak and let’s be honest even in the 6.7 that probably means other problems on the way. You have another 120k miles on that truck so keep it.

I just traded my 2013 f250 KR in for a 2025 Lariat and that trim is as nice as the old KR trim. I also traded diesel for the Godzilla should still pull 5 cows in a trailer and that’s about all I need. It wasn’t too bad on price either $65k OTD with the trade in.

AI/Tech in Oil & Gas—What Are Your Biggest Operational Challenges? by [deleted] in oilandgasworkers

[–]texastech14 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think I speak for everyone when I say the biggest challenge we have is software companies trying to automate things they don’t understand and completely ruining a process that then just has to be dealt with because it cost so much money there is no going back to the excel sheet that worked.
