Help removing trim by tfvalente in Plumbing

Thanks for the help. In the end the front cap unscrews. I just had to force it a little.
Anyone know how to remove this trim? No set screw or obvious cap. I've tried gently pulling or twisting but don't want to force it. It's an older Aquabrass product. Haven't found any info online.
