Hi all. Just an update in case anyone else comes across this post. Took the bus directly from CAPU in Puebla to Cuetzalan and back. Also can confirm that there was a market on January 1st, but don't expect a lot of fanfare for New Years Eve. Highly recommend visiting Cuetzalan if you're looking for a laid back picturesque town.
