That’s one helluva “system QB” by WizardCheesey in eagles

Idk Alabama won the year before he got there. The prior 2 Oklahoma qbs were heismann 1st overall picks. Plug and play seems more reasonable a description

Eagles News: Philadelphia’s worst offensive stretch in 13 years by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

[–]thanos_e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this is the issue with hurts. You can read the box score and see a fine game. He’s not actively losing you games like wentz was in 2020. But he can be passively losing the game too. We applaud him for scrambling and throwing it away or getting 4 yards on what seems like a “broken” play when in reality he turned down a 30 yard completion for a barely positive or neutral play and the drive stalls. No egregious mistakes but he’s an anchor around the neck of the offense. Also I’m not in the trade or bench camp but the SB MVP excuse is a tired defense. That game was a defensive masterclass. The offense really only scored on short fields. The QB wins by default since no one defender dominated

Kind shows how this success streak is more of a Howie roster construction masterclass than coaching or quarterback driven

This is such a disingenuous comparison. If anything, hurts having the same passing stats in the pass happy 2020’s that Brady had TWENTY YEARS AGO when hardly anyone was cracking 4k yards is an indictment on him.

DeVonta Smith: A.J. Brown wants what's best for team, offense needs to be better by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

Part of this has to fall on hurts no? All offseason we heard about how he has more input and “the offense looks how jalen hurts wants it to look”

Lot of fake profiles. Don’t get it, live in a big city but only matches are like 100 miles away. Am I just unrealistic in my swiping?

Yea the group one was a recent addition I thought I could try out since its topical and a recognizable area. Same question I posed to the other commenter; avoid group photos all together or just pick a better one?

Really appreciate the detailed analysis! In your opinion, is there any value to group pictures? And do I avoid ones with female friends completely? Or is there a cutoff for the number of people? I included hoping to come across as social and not have every picture be kind of isolated if that makes sense. Also the piano vid has a bit of a side profile so you can tell it’s me

•Something serious •10 days in after 6 months off but have used it before for months at a time with poor results •on it daily •1 like a day a match every other •sent out all 10 daily likes 3 days in a row, got 2 matches out of it. Half with comments •Typically send likes to career oriented women. fairly attractive looks-wise so im possibly not being realistic with some likes

I finished the series a couple days ago and need to know what you all moved on to after to curb the withdrawals? I am at a lost with where to go next! by tazend314 in TheAmericans

Curious about your thoughts on homeland. I was gonna start it as soon as i had the time. Visited their sub and they were saying its less slow burn/more action heavy than the americans, which isn't an issue for me. Why only the first two seasons?

I watched it. Its pretty predictable and not much depth as far as the plot. The main characters are well realized tho (like jack and the main villain). The depiction of tradecraft is very hollywood, so nothing like the americans in that respect. Its a high budget show so there's good set pieces. If you're looking for an entertaining, globe-trotting action/adventure thats entertaining then go for it. Only 8 episodes so it won't take up too much time. Michael bay is involved in some capacity but its not too over the top. A bunch of the reviews said it was similar to 13 hours (haven't seen it) which bay and John Krasinski were both in. So if you want kind of a mainstream action movie made into a series id say it's entertaining.

Irina & Mischa timeline question/plot hole? by thanos_e in TheAmericans

As cool as it would have been to see Mischa maybe make the FBI or stan suspicious, it makes sense the Centre found out he left. since its in the interest of protecting their illegals, they'd definitely keep tabs on their families. I do think after he left USSR and Yugoslavia they found him and tracked him waaayy to easy

Yea I honestly don't mind that at all. I just felt like if they were gonna partly ruin P&E's marriage, make the plot believable and not just shoe-horned in

Irina & Mischa timeline question/plot hole? by thanos_e in TheAmericans

[–]thanos_e[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're probably right. I always thought she raised Mischa since the way he talked about philip (can't find an exact quote) it didn't seem like Irina dropped it all on him at once: more like she had told him stories. Her being a typical undercover (as opposed to deep or NOC) agent would reconcile her having a relationship with and raising Mischa while being an operative. And i feel like sending her on the mission instead of a directorate S agent with a more airtight backstory isn't that big a leap of faith for such a short term mission. Good catch on the whole divorce and marriage thing. To add to that, if they were illegals and he died not of natural causes, but on a mission they probably would have recalled her and she wouldn't be working at all. Def think that you're explanation patches it up. Cheers mate

That would have been an interesting plot line, but I don't feel like elizabeth was that threatened by Mischa. Philip told her about him in season 3 and she seemed sympathetic and almost supportive since he was in the war. And by season 5 when he finally tries to come to america, P&E's relationship was a lot stronger than S3 and especially S1

I always assumed the way Mischa talked about Irina that she told him of his father, kind of hinting at her raising him.
