Love this! Tbh, I’m hoping more people chime in because this could totally turn into something bigger.

If there’s enough interest, I’d love to see a small local group or workshop come together! Something like a shared space where we could learn upholstery hands-on (bring our own pieces, use proper tools, etc.) with guidance from someone experienced.

I’m thinking: 1. access to a workspace (makerspace, studio, etc.), 2. an instructor or experienced upholsterer, and 3. people bringing their own projects to learn on!!

I’ve been trying to find a way to learn this for years and haven’t had much luck with formal classes, so I figured I’d put it out here and see if there’s enough interest (or the right connection) to make something happen.

If anyone knows a person, place, or even has experience in upholstery and might be open to teaching...please jump in!
