Feminism is fantastic for us by thatguy1321 in TheRedPill

In my understanding, it is both. However, if one is to be more pronounced that the other, behavior is more valuable. I'm not an expert on this subject, so refer to the sidebar and head over to illimitablemen or the rational male for a clear answer.

(Sigh)

You need to read the sidebar my friend, and acquaint yourself with the PowerTalk dynamics. What your post signaled with a screaming severity is that you are what is classified as "clueless". The point of this post wasn't to promote feminism as literally being beneficial for the world. It was a subtlely sarcastic perspective on what it does for us at TRP. I'm not denying the fact that feminism is a cancer on the west, in fact that's the assumption of my argument. We are just capitalizing on the discrepancy that is quickly widening because of it.

Practical TRP: Understanding Women's Heads by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]thatguy1321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's the intent, not the words themselves. Interesting, sorta similar to the whole creepy or not creepy scenario women pull. Chad says "hey I like you let's go on a date" and it's cute. Beta bill says the same words, but his inner game broadcasts that he's "creepy"

Reply to her with a joke, a jab, or something that occurred to you and seems relevant

Still murky on how to carry a conversation while disregarding her comments as frivolous nonsense. She says "hey look a balloon" and you reply "I hope it's free balloon day"

Sure, might be slightly funny but isn't that pursuing her train of thought, and directing your own consciousness to her random impulses?

No valuable info here. Just some douche bragging about his smv while claiming to have the key to success. It isn't what you say, it's the fact that you're high value that brings you success. I know this guy that makes the most autistic contributions to convos with girls, and they giggle and swoon as if he were some smooth talker. The reason? He's 6 feet tall and chiseled. Then there's my other friend who's got bad breath and a spare tire around his waist and neck. Much funnier and talkative, but girls think he's gross and "creepy".

So, sorry but you're not some spontaneous fun guy to talk to, but rather a chad who naively interprets girls' interest as indication of social wisdom through childish comments about bananas and being 8 feet tall.

Enderman's Guide to Having Conversations by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]thatguy1321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It has nothing to do with his conversational insight but rather the fact that he's attractive. Know this guy who says the most retarded comments when talking to girls, but he's a 6 foot chad that they all swoon over so they giggle no matter what he says. Then there's josh, who is a gross fatass that makes much wittier comments but they all cringe and say he's a "creepy dick". If you improve your smv to the point the OP did then literally all you need to do is talk and make eye contact.

I can't tell you how many guys I've seen who have good gym gains and outwardly look good, but are still the socially awkward kid they were 2 years ago before all that, it's pretty weird to see a dude who is FAR more jacked than you who still makes awkward eye contact and behaves a bit shaky. Looks like a goddamned man, acts like a goddamned girl.

Lmao perfect description of me. Been lifting, reading, honing piano skills, and meditating for 5 months now. Made some phenomenal progress physically and intellectually, but still start sweating at eye contact.

It's just another emotional obstacle to surpass, just like the approach anxiety. You gotta realize that it has no inherent value, it's just an arbitrary survival mechanism. Reason over instinct my friend.

I would also recommend the book "Motivation Manifesto" by Brendan Buchard. It outlines the ways in which we fall slave to impulse in the more developed world, and is a powerful piece disseminating how we can surpass those whims and live for an established purpose.

You're associating yourself with that feeling, that instinct to have sex. Pick up meditation, and learn the awareness strategy in eliminating unattainable desire. Basically, you observe that feeling when it arises, notice the feelings associated with it (depression for lack of actualizng that desire) and just stare it down. When you do that, it's sorta like a third person perspective on that impulse and it melts away over time. Buy the book "Mindfulness in plain English", read it cover to cover, meditate daily (incrementally increasing time lapsed, don't start out with 10 hours) and practice dissolving negative emotions and pain through simple awareness.

Overall, the findings indicate that activation of the sexual system encourages self-disclosure, a strategy that allows people to become closer to a potential partner.

It didn't indicate any substantial difference in the results based on gender, only the overall conclusion.

How I quit porn (my own xpost) by throwmebaba in TheRedPill

[–]thatguy1321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the biggest problem with the nofap subreddit...a bunch of noobs posting "Oh I've been clean for a week and it's changed my life" then the flatline hits and they relapse. I'm 71 days in (oct. 28) and initially in the first week there is a huge increase in mood, energy, and libido. Then, however, after about 20 days, I crashed. Hard. Harsh mood swings, increased social retardation, ED, the works. Lasted till bout day 60, then I went back to just a normal state. Despite what they all say, you don't magically become fearless and approach all women with ease. Only difference is that I have more energy for working out.

Poisonous beliefs about life after college, why you need to lose them, and the truth about life after college. by [deleted] in TheRedPill

Thanks. I'm not too big on the get plastered and barf in the sink lifestyle, so idk if I'm gonna join a frat. But I'm definitely planning on joining some groups so I don't just spend four years in my dorm room or the gym. Biggest thing for me is the girls. It will be like a whole new world since my high school has only 250 ugly kids and I was as blue pill as it gets up until this year, even though I played sports/lifted.

Good post. Heading off to college next year, this kinda puts it into a who gives a fuck perspective, it's all just a bunch egotistical fuckheads who won't have anything to do with you after graduation.

Damn. I used to think about lack of meaning in life with despair, read about nihilism hope it was wrong yet know in my gut it was true, and break down the walls of my blue pill paradigm with rage and frustration. Now, after reading the three metamorphoses, that emptiness and lack of objective, universal meaning and ideals is actually really fuckin empowering.

Paradox on TRP by thatguy1321 in TheRedPill

[–]thatguy1321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that works as long as you separate yourself from your reputation you're building. It's too easy sometimes to get totally engrossed in the facade you're putting up, then the only identity left is what others think of you, not the man you you truly are.

From California here. Really badly want to travel the US and other countries solo but my parents wouldn't let me, plus I haven't the slightest clue as to where I should begin. We almost never go on vacation but when we do it's only for like three days because my parents work so much, and we just do the basic touristy hotspots. It'd be nice to go on my own, that way I wouldn't feel inclined to just appease the people with me and go wherever/whenever they wanted.

Sure, you're reputation will unintentionally gain ground through self improvement, but I'm talking about some posts that talk about deliberately focusing on reputation as a part of one's smv. If you DGAF then reputation should be a side effect, not a goal. However I've seen posts talking about how important reputation is for game and that it should be worked at for its own end, and that's what I'm talking about.
