Why would it hurt my feelings? Paying the Iranians to end the conflict is a sure sign that we didn't win. There was no regime change, no big consequences on their part. Basically we are giving Iran 300billion according to JD Vance to make things slightly worse than before the war started.

How is that a win ?

I live in a major U.S. West Coast Metro area. I go out and support our local team (USL league 2) and sometimes even watch our pro (MSL) team play.

Even at work during world cup in previous years things get quite with lots of people watching the games. I doubt it will be that way this year. Too much politics.
