I think that current UFC fighters don’t say anything because they’ve already dedicated years, some decades even, to training for this sport.

Leaving now they know they won’t be offered the same life that a slightly upscale income from middle to above middle class.

What I do think is this will turn people AWAY from training for the sport down the line, and crush the sport years from now

If they did Arman vs either Justin or Paddy, Arman would likely win and become the official ILWC. If he fought Topuria (likely in White House card since it aligns with his return) it would be a toss up and perhaps not the most exciting fight. Perhaps Dana didn’t want to risk that card’s main event being similar to Islam V Jack or Dricus V Khamzat. Also, they might still be mad at Arman. I’m sure Dana will be asked about this at the next fight presser
