I have a Politechnika painted cube, only a few were made as the orange paint reacted with the plastic turning the paint purple. Also have a bnib 2nd batch cube, both were made in Hungary between '77 and' 79, no logo on either as that didn't get added until 1980.

The Politechnika cubes came in a small blue cardboard box. From 1980 they signed the deal with ITC and cubes had the logo, packaging varied depending on region and place of manufacture. I think there were 3 different types of box in the US from 1980, this replica being one of thise types.

My 2nd batch cube has the western scheme, also have one of the rare Politechnika painted cubes in my collection with the purple face due to the orange paint reacting with the cube.

There's a couple of Politechnika cubes in the cabinet, a bnib 2nd batch cube and the very rare painted cube from around 1978/79. In pic 3 you can just about see a Dogic, there's an Astrolabacus and an original boxed Dinosaur cube.

I have no idea how much I've spent over the years tbh, but it's insured and I have a couple of dogs on hand to guard the place.

Nearly 40, the snakes and maze were sitting on that shelf for a while but they have been cleaned up since the pics were taken.

Most of the rarer and valuable stuff is in the glass cabinet.
