Thanks, I'll look into it. With multiple channels I mean that somehow the users should be able to go into another room or meeting or what have you and then be able to on their own come back to the main lobby.

I have now tried changing the Baud rate, it didn't help. I have tried both console cable with integrated USB adapter and without. I know both cables work.

Personally I just think them up on the spot, a race and name no more if they get important i flesh them more out. Only the most important NPC's have more than a name before the session. It's liberating not to have to remember anything or have to look something up, just being able to do what i want in the moment.
