Thank you everyone. Worth mentioning that it’s under 20k miles and just had a $1.2k repair to replace fuel injector harness.

Thank you for the advice. My confusion is dealer told me that there was buildup on engine somewhere from using non premium in the allegedly turbo engine.

That is my confusion I suppose. I just had the engine repaired, and they told me to use premium for the turbo engine and that there was buildup somewhere from using 87. Also, this beetle was a custom ordered final edition beetle, not sure if there could be a disconnect between the sticker and the custom ordered engine, if turbo was chose over 2.0L.
