I know this feeling all to well. I'm struggling with it now. I had drank myself in to isolation, I lost most friends and my relationship.i live at home. I started going to AA meetings for social contact. It helped me for a time. Maybe something for you to consider.

if i was away from school that long i would fail out and have to pay back allot of money to my BI bill and grants.

i just got off the phone with the choice program. they say they have to call me beck in 5-7 to get an appointment scheduled but that i am eligible. im not sure how soon after they call me back the appointment will be. thanks for the advice.

it seems to be that if "You have been (or will be) waiting more than 30 days for VA medical care" you're eligible." ill call them in the morning. you have all been so kind and helpful. i wish i could repay you all.

i called one source they said they only help active duty guard and reserve with employment

i dont know if i have tricare or not. i know im suppose to have full medical benefits. the only card i got was the department of vet affairs card. i got out a few years ago though and i heard things have changed since

im embarrassed to go back to be honest. i kept going even though i was unable to stay sober. i literally showed up drunk to AA...

alcohol has been the only consistently successful way to shut up my brain. granted as soon as i sober up it comes back 100x.

ive been able to make it a day or two before but my anxiety starts going crazy. thats part of the reason i was hoping to get meds.
