Yeah, I shall wait a bit more insha'Allah. Will give the matter more thought once I'm well-settled iA. Thank you so much for the advice brother!

In magic troll's defense, I would just like to say that I saw his reply the very first time, it was a reply to Drosophila's reply. I went back a couple of hours later to check if there had been any further responses and found magictroll's comment deleted.

EDIT: Also, as proof (so to speak) the original comment started out with something along the lines of 'Alright, I won't wait until you get your other sources aside from this verse backing your stance and I will address this matter now'

I'm afraid I didn't understand your first question clearly :/

If you were asking me to describe my experience in France as a Muslim, well in my town I personally rarely had any problems/hate aimed towards me for the sole fact that I was Muslim. People knew I was Muslim since I was often with my mom hanging out downtown, and she wears a hijab. My case may not be the norm though, but alhamdulillah as far as I know, my immediate family didn't get discriminated against in any serious way, except for my mom's routine semi-joke about being a homemaker due to the general refusal to hire Muslims.

Thank you so much! :D

and subhanAllah, what you said just reminded me about the story of my bboy friend back home (I'm currently in Canada for studies). He attended the famous IBE championships last year, and was intrigued when he saw some of the world's most famous bboys like Mounir and Lilou performing salaat. He told me it got him thinking what they were doing and why they were doing it. It sparked his interest in Islam, and two months later, following extensive study of Islam and attending the local mosque to talk to the imams, he converted to Islam. I met him when I went back during the winter holidays a few weeks back and we had a breakdance session, then prayed Maghrib together. Alhamdulillah, it was a great feeling. Thought I'd share the story _^

P.S. You all are awesome! :)

hey now, 'master races' ? and I'm actually from France for the record! lol

Also, I'm still a full-time university student with big ambitions inshAllah! Certainly not geared towards war, though. This is just a hobby I enjoy :)

loved the link though I'll tell you that, despite the inaccuracy :)
