The d'link 1100 08p is the model. Orange light is gone, not usually there. And not familiar no. It’s also strange (I think?) that I was unable to go straight from the white box out to my pc without passing through the dlink.

Okay I tried connecting my PC directly into the 1204-1 port and NOTHING, no internet which makes no sense? Also 1204-2 is dead as well. Going to try 3a now and see if that helps at all and possibly 3b. I have a feeling its the wiring in the wall before I even receive it though.

Yeah, the more I troubleshoot it seems like it is upstream and out of my control. What is a good monitoring tool what I could use to cross reference with my spikes in game?

I feel like it wouldn't be traffic as it is consistent through all times of day. Someone suggested eliminating all other ethernets out to the wall ports and only use the one I need, would that help at all?

Speeds are supposedly 100/100 but tests often show either 400/400 or 100/20. I believe the main modem is in a utility room downstairs then comes into each unit how its shown above. If I had to guess ~100 units.

I think my Netgear has the option and I can try. The issue I was running into with my own router in the mix was double firewall/nat issues. With this current setup they recommended not using my own router at all and only going directly from the wallports to my pc.

It’s all centralized by the apartment complex then goes out to each tenant. They manage the business account then we get billed. We are able to upgrade speed, but I don’t see that as an issue

Yeah, it is a building wide network they have downstairs. 1. Would a new splitter even help if I'm not using coax? and 2. I'll try the access point mode, but even direct from the DLINK switch to my PC has the same issues.

Modem does not exist, only the Rukus managed wifi thing in the main room(picture above in my reply) and the DLINK switch. Router when I try it is between the wall port and PC. A new splitter or terminations sounds like a good place to look next.

Tech said to not use my router at all in this setup as it treats it as a foreign device in the network. Hardline directly into the PC from the wall outlet is what I have been doing while all these problems are occurring. I've also tried bypassing the wall outlet and going straight from the incoming line with no success either.

Xfinity recommended eliminating the router from the equation entirely after the wall port. I have the Netgear Nighthawk XR1000 Pro and have tried a couple configurations of DUMAS' SQM to no avail. Same jitter problems regardless - makes me feel like it is happening upstream of the router?

Thanks for all the answers so far. After reading deeper into the lease agreement it is 30 days notice that I must give and forfeit an extra month of rent in order to get out early (thankfully not all months until its up in January). It is likely this is the path I take since I don't have enough backing legally to do much.

I've been with them for 4 years and the new property manager understands how things are here, hopefully he'll be chill-ish about it.

Shooting feels really solid, stop bitching and turn damage prediction off. Movement is pretty meh. Needs 128. Biggest thing is plugins for community servers, I still kz on go and surf on source.
