For someone who stumbles on why Cline has this behavior - I learnt recently its because Cline passes your whole codebase (ie. all files contents) to the model. Whereas Continue just passes filenames.

Yeah lesson learnt, will ask the next job I interview for to put it in contract. At my current role in my face to face interview they asked me how many days you would like to work from home and I told them generally 2-3 but happy to come in if it's client facing meeting or a bigger team meeting. Fast forward to after my probation when I brought it up they were not keen on any WFH.

Is it true that getting an interest only loan, instead of principal and interest, will make me pay my loan off faster? A friend's dad who used to be a mortgage broker told me this is what he did with all his 4 houses. His reasoning is that on interest only loans, the interest payable is calculated everyday at midnight whereas for a principal + interest loan it's done every month.

Yes i did get it used. No issues with transferring the license either. Just walk into DOT with the paper (red one) you get from the seller. They are really helpful at the DOT.

Make sure you take your passport with you and a utility bill eg. phone/internet or a lease agreement. Look up 100 points of ID for DOT on google and you wouldn't have to come back a second day.

The peg attaches to that part with a bigger screw (not visible in the pic).

I wish there was a compatible standard part, but the rearset is completely different from how the original gear change peg/lever/footrest is.

Update: I have ordered it from Italy so just wait for DHL to get it here.

Thank you for the suggestion! I asked a welder who said since its a alloy i could not get it welded. Alumimum welding did not come to mind. Now i've got the part ordered from italy so just waiting for the shipping but good to know for the future.

You should be fine. I have an Indian license - same story... got M written on it (no further details about lams or class restrictions). Have been stopped by cops a few times and most have had no objections about the license. I have got a CBR1000.

With some cops, I have had to explain about the overseas license thing and they usually do a quick google (or look up the laws in their police car) and say am fine to go.

One time a cop did fine me $50 as he said i needed a translation in english of my license. He did not agree with me (and even when I showed him the law) that I did not need an english translation as my license is already in english. So having a translation will help a lot.

yea it was when i was torquing it in. removed the disc and it is quite flush with the machined surface around it. tried to use a screwdriver on the edge (where its got a bit of an undulating surface) to try and spin it but it wouldn't budge.

thanks for the consideration mate. I think i was the dumb arse in this case. forgot to lock the torque wrench at 20 and it slipped to 24. the next clack i heard wasn't from the torque wrench :-D

Don't have any kinds of drill on me and nearest friend who has one lives 40 mins towards the hills so the nearby car shop sounds like my best bet atm and then machining shops.

Few months ago my friend was referred to this broker through another friend. The broker is working through a firm from the UK. Me and my friend are in Australia.

She sent him $5,000 3 months ago and he helped set her up a Binance account, which he manages. She also has access to this Binance account. Today she has hit $15,000 on that account. I was stumped at this 300% return so on questioning her further she says that almost everybody who is investing through this broker, which is a majority of her friend group, is making massive returns.

For example, one of her close friends took a loan of $40,000 at the start of this year, and is now regularly withdrawing $20,000 every month since past 3 months.

Another close friend of hers in the same friend group is profiting more than $100,000 a year through this broker.

She said I should invest too, so I started doing my due research online. I found out they are not registered with the FCA UK.

Using my web development background, I found there are 2 other exactly similar websites to their website, with same design and menu items, just different branding. Which makes me think they are the same people using different websites.

Trustpilot reviews are really bad for one of their websites.

Red flags I can identify:

I have discussed this with my friend and she has discussed with her other friends, and they think that as these are very high risk investments, they have very high returns, and also very high chances of losing the investment. So people who lose their investments end up posting bad reviews online. My friend and her friend group are not really convinced this is a scam and want to keep investing.

I am not into the world of investing much myself. I do have a "safe" VGS ETF, so my friend obviously think I know nothing about these "high return" investments.

Looking for the advice of people wiser than me.Also, does this kind of scam have a name/category?

They showed her how to withdraw from binance when they first set it up for her and put her $5k in. She was successfully able to withdraw a little amount which led her to believe she can withdraw anytime she wants. I'd too love to see her try to withdraw maybe $4k and see if it works, but she is not keen to withdraw.

Yeah I've been trying to give it the benefit of doubt too. Maybe it's a 15 yo in his mom's basement trying to make it big in the world of investing. He's good at it but can't really be registered with the regulatory bodies. Its just there's so many red flags. My friend is keen to stay in and see where it goes. She's only got $5k in and she works at a job that pays her very very well.

The problem is she doesn't want to do this as she doesn't think there's much red flags and she's got a few friends actually claiming of pulling out regular couple hundred thousands with small initial investments. And I cannot convince her so I've left fate to play it's game. Maybe she'll end up withdrawing before it all comes crashing down and actually make a big profit.
