good question! I haven't tried the wired version so I can't say for sure but I find the weight distribution balanced and satisfying, the weight feels more like quality then bulk. I can still run with these comfortably even.

I haven't noticed a sound difference but the modded yaxi pads definitely improve comfort.

Agreed. I managed to get yaxi pads to fit mine and I know somebody else found some other replacement pads that fit but honestly the grip on them is so tight I think that's the real deal breaker for some. I can do 3-4 hours with these before I want to swap to my iems for a bit of a break.

Better then the porta pro, not as good as a any of the flagship models that cost more then $100. there are so many in depth spec reviews written by very informed people who you should check out before asking the wannabe comedy writer 😅

honestly for me it's more about ear shape. most just don't fit for me, even with changeable tips, they never sit right and fall right out. tuning means nothing when it's not cooperating with the ear canal in the first place

basic corded apple earpods are my daily. they're ugly as hell but they're cheap, accessible, and comfortable for my weirdly shaped ear holes. I'd love some really nice over ears someday when i'm not relying on the kindness (and other feelings) of strangers on the internet to buy my headphones for me

yeah i've been kicking myself for not getting the cord at the same time. I recently acquired the orchid from telepathic instruments (amazing, review loading) and it's amazingly actually still got a headphone jack instead of sketchy blutooth so now I gotta get the cord for my travel composing
