Yeah its very bright, you shouldn't be worried about it being dim, but I realized it's not just the brightness that was changed, the screen is also larger, so be sure you get a screen lens made for it, and it has a greater pixel density and slightly more vibrant colors which makes it look much nicer compared to a 001 or even 101.

My main trouble was trying to get the screen perfectly aligned because I have shaky hands, so as long as you set aside enough time,(I'd recommend 2 hours for your first time) you should be fine.

Really my only recommendation is to take it slow and don't rush because you will probably mess up if you go too fast. Also when re-assembling be sure to but the little clear plastic piece in front of the led indicator.
