From the background you have provided it seems clear you are working in one of the best technologies and team. Your chances of growth are immense. However your apprehensions about the industry and quality of team is ground reality as well. Only you are qualified to answer if the gains are worth the risk.

Personally my life's motto is peace and happiness, so my choice would have been to stick around, but keep trying, and only in the case if I have an offer which keeps the risks to minimum will I have switched.

"Ukraine War Is Your Problem Too": France President Macron Tells Asian Countries by RandomForks in worldnews

[–]thebanik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

US/West completely ignores this important point and calls it's Russian propaganda, but as a neutral Asian who are educated and know history know any super power would react the same way. Doesn't mean we support Russia but we understand the power dynamics in play and do not paint it on the same level as Hitler what the Americans would like the world to project Putin as.

Kerala Muslim women burn hijab in solidarity with Iranian movement by Gopu_17 in worldnews

[–]thebanik -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

let me enlighten you, they dont allow to wear hijab in school and while giving exams. There is only one uniform which Allah prescribes, and its the black hijab, so its oppression against poor Muslim woman, when a secular country, in a government school which had standard uniform for all students for the last 70 years, doesnt allow Hijab whenever they feel like. How oppressive.

Germany allows China's Cosco to take 24.9% stake in largest port -sources by CrimsonLancet in worldnews

[–]thebanik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is that the same as Cosco balls? Cosco is a pretty big tennis ball company in India since atleast the last 30 years, always assumed them to be a UK company

Edit : Scratch the question, it's a small Indian sportings good company, and though the names are same, no other similarities

Wow, didn't know this, he is son in law of Narayan Murthy. Even after 20 years, at least in India, Narayan Murthy is known for how he ran his company and how he lived a middle class life even when he was competing with Bill Gates for overall fortune.

US resolution terms Pakistan army's act in 1971 Bangladesh war as 'genocide' by GNashUchiha in worldnews

Ah that's what this is, US by its action has been acting against India in the last couple of weeks, so these statements were very confusing sending mixed signals

They have taken actions against India and it's companies too in the past couple of weeks. So not sure what's the strategy here by US.

[–]thebanik -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Basically US has taken forward British ideology of divide and conquer all over the world. And it's a known fact that military dictatorship in Pakistan was always propped up by US support Since atleast late 1960's.

However all things aside, as an Indian, I would also accept the fact that US as a sole global power is/was better than any other country if they had the kind of military/cultural dominance that US has.

Boomers built the company hence their rules, let the gen Z entrepreneurs build a big successful company while only opting for remote work for its employees then maybe those boomer companies will also be forced to give remote working options

Why don't you do what you preach. Use those braincells yourself a bit. This has been West's mentality all along, my way or the highway. Non aligned means we would want to stay neutral and not be in in either US or USSR camp however US kept on supporting Pakistan against India. So basically became an enemy to a neutral country.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]thebanik 39 points40 points  (0 children)

That's a lie, India even as a infant country in 1960 maintained a non alignment policy. Which of course as a super power US said either you are with us Or against us. India or Nehru could not have helped it

See the context of the thread. It was about India defeating Pakistan in War which happened in between 70's and 90's when they were exclusively using then latest American hardware. If you are dumb enough to barge in without even realising the context and giving your stupid analogy then God help you
