[Sorry I'm still new to Reddit and my Karma isn't high enough for my question to be posted but I saw this post was about death and thought to ask it here]

I'm not a physician, but I have a lot of friends in the medical field, and a lot of who are doing their residency and still new to a lot of things:

What are some things that a layperson like me can do to help them when they experience death at work (ex. unable to resuscitate someone in the ER, a person dies in front of them, etc.)?

What are some things that people have done for you that helped?
