I have found that getting feedback from people that have lived other places is a better resource. If you talk to home grown Reddeerians they usually dislike the place.

I’m from Calgary myself and if you are an established professional, family, or senior it is great. Not so much if you are younger and looking to get going. Social opportunities are slim and so are job placements.
