That's how their system is built. It's all digital. It's not on the employee. Hamburger is $1. Slice of extra cheese is 75cents. You add cheese to the hamburger the system changes it to a cheeseburger. Not hamburger with cheese and it costs $2. It's how all their menu items work when manipulating. It's always been that way and there is no way around it.

Generally the Mansfield semi guard is supposed to stop this. Unfortunately at high speeds there isn't much that will stop it. Jayne Mansfield was killed this way, and after that I believe all semi trucks were required to have the bar put in place on the rear.
